You could see in MGS4 he really wanted to die. Hoping that Raiden would be the one to end his suffering. And Roy may have seemed like he was using Snake, but he protected him and Rose at the end. I don’t think there is any character I didn’t like. Maybe Paz Ortega.
She was trying to tell Snake that the FOXDIE was part of the mission, it was not her plan but the Pentagon’s. Snake was supposed to be a mean to spread the virus among the soldiers in Shadow Moses, so that the terrorists could be killed without destroying the Rex. Snake has been used by the government, but Naomi managed to modify the virus (we don’t know actually how, probably she saved some time for Snake)

All of Big Boss’s clones had their lifespans shortened to reduce the chances of them falling into enemy hands, supposedly. It doesn’t make much sense to me tbh but my suspicion is that this was the team’s way of explaining why Solidus looks so old in Solid 2 despite only being in his thirties like Snake lol

Kojima isn't on-board with Konami anymore, so why re-make Kojima's best creation that is still playable today and still is the best game of all time? If they are desperate to remake something, they should remake Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear 2.

I disagree, personally. Old classics like this do not need remakes. They are as beloved as they are because they still hold up. I couldn't care about graphics or control complaints personally... these games are perfect as is. We wouldn't have what we do today without the gems like this, Final Fantasy 7, Silent Hill, etc. from the PS1 era.

However because of this game and what she did to you, she over the course realizes what a mistake she’s made. She realized you were a good person doing the best you can to save everyone, and she just was nothing more than a tool with enough revenge to follow through the injection. It’s cruel and a Tragedy, but that’s war; which unfortunately never changes.
