This is beautiful and inspirational just as a piece of art, or show. The 3D projection is of a far higher quality than light shows I've seen in major cities in Europe. I love John Lithgow as an actor too and saw his Malvolio at the RSC, he presents this superbly.
I am coming from Pennsylvania to UCLA :) This was beautiful :') It made me jealous that I wasn't there, and am still at my local 35,000 student college.
engineerrb Sorry you guys, but at great as Coach was, Young was responsible for the education of 30,000 students a year and helped turn UCLA into a world class, top 10 university, with all the resultant benefits to Los Angeles, California, and the world as a whole. I imagine that John would have agreed with this view.
Ron Kasper That's a LOT of imagination to give Young so much credit as an administrator; Young's BAGGAGE insured he never made UC President. Coach Wooden's teaching impact has reached all demographics, for generations.
Spectacular. But as an alumnus of the university and a life member of the alumni association, I must ask: is this **really** a prudent way to spend university money? As it stands today, countless young people can't afford a college eduation anywhere--let alone UCLA.How many scholarships could have been funded, or opportunities created, with the money that was spent on this blatent attempt at self-promotion. I have contributed to the Annual Fund every year since I graduated, and this completely irritates me. The Fund should remove me from i's call list. Don't get me wrong, I am as proud of my school as the next person, but I expect better stewardship of the funds that I pay back to support university endeavors. I get it....Centennial Year blah blah blah.....just send a postcard. And "Chuckles" was nowhere NEAR the gentleman/scholar that Coach was.
+HJanikula Marketing is the success of any business. No matter how great the product or service a business may offer, it means nothing if no one knows about it. UCLA's success and future will be based on the future talent it can recruit, and donations from alumni. That presentation was world class.
The video is spectacular but only has 44k views, so it is not really marketing too well either. It is also should not market only to potential students like me currently deciding where to accept LA or Cal, but to the taxpayers of California. More people should see this because public universities give back and create a lot for society as a whole.
This was quite possibly my most memorable experience at UCLA. Completely chilling.
Emotional, amazing, and inspiring - SO proud to be a UCLA Bruin!
I LOVE MY UCLA... I AM PROUD TO BE IN THE COMPANY OF SO MANY OUTSTANDING BRUINS BLESSED WITH THE GIFTS OF CREATIVITY AND LIGHT!!
Amazing. So proud to be a part of this incredible institution. GO BRUINS!!!
I remember watching this in person while a student there so this is very nostalgic. Proud to be a Bruin and alumni of UCLA!

This makes me so proud to be an alumnus from such an amazing world-class institution.
Aww, thanks! We think you're pretty world-class yourself!
Absolutely exquisite narrative, and graphics... extremely moving and inspiring.
Terrific campaign.
Fantastic video! I am proud to be a Bruin.

What a great movie, must have been one hell of a project! Just wish I knew about it to see it in person...
Turned down the UCLA offer for undergrad. Choice ate away at me for 11 years. Now back here for Anderson School of Management.
A Hsu where'd you go instead
A Hsu ?
Incredible. I wish I was there.
I wish I could attend in this university and could make effort and accomplish!!!
But once I will come for you for sure UCLA.

Wow that was impressive. Go Bruins!
Now THAT'S bold flavor....
UCLA is the best and am going to go to UCLA because I like it and it is smart and I LOVE UCLA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was that Chuck Young at 4:00? (and if so why is his picture bigger than Wooden's?) Wooden's contributions to UCLA far outweigh Chuck Young's.
noticed that too but thought it was Alford... Wooden should be in the foreground!

Yes, his wife teaches at UCLA!
Wish I could have made it
