I'll admit I'm still pissed about hanzo.
sure my accuracy doubled but at the cost of halving my winrate.
fr. his arrow charge time with his projectile drop off makes finishing any target significantly harder, so he is only worth playing into widow or tracer (since he still one shots them). it's such a shame they butchered him so badly
Gold Hanzo one trick here. Strength wise, the higher consistency and lower damage kinda cancel each other out. But he definitely feels like he's lost his soul and is generally less fun to play.
I personally think he's been weak and has needed buffs for ages. The only time in recent memory he was relevant to any meta was during the mauga meta in season 8, and he was still weak then he just happened to be useful against mauga. If they buff him, they should buff the regular draw speed and not the damage, because with the one shot and higher consistency he'd already be oppressive in my hands, let alone someone significantly better than me at him. Buffing the draw speed means he's less venerable to hit scans that can kill before he gets the second arrow out and he'd be actually somewhat useful at applying the DPS passive.
@@PHNX_140 rein player here get used to it our character has been weak for so long they don’t care I agree with you hanzo is pretty weak the extra health is horrible for him I’ve played dps every now and then before season nine I tried him out my friend loved to play him so I decided to try him out a little bit I was doing decent but after seasons nine I tried him again he felt weaker and I felt like I was getting Less kills then I did before I kept hitting headshots and didn’t get a kill but they probably won’t buff him just seeing how blizzard is they start to forget about character and never buff them even if they do it’s a small buff that doesn’t do much

Hanzo just needs an attack speed buff and I think he will be fine. Like just a bit slower than storm arrows but faster than what he has now.

1:36 Whenever I play Rein, I have a setting where I can look around while my shield is up and it like locks it into place.
That's a default setting on Rein, you just hold primary fire with shield to look around

Before this season I would go 1-7 with hanzo with like 1-2k damage, now I peaked 28 and 9 I think with 20,000 damage lmao

Hi, I play a lot of Hanzo and though I've had the opposite sort of experience, I think that makes a lot of sense. After the change his more optimal play styles feel more in line with other mid range dps. So if you were more used to that before, then I can definitely see why Hanzo would work better for you now.
Hanzo is still a better junkrat in almost every way... (he's just can't fly in the sky)

As a support player the reason why I wait is to let the other support pick first, because I can play any support, but if they pick mercy they've chosen wrong so I go Lucio/zen to help them choose better. Tbh I win the majority of mercy zen games anyways so I think it's just better to play what you're good at sometimes. Still hate mercy mains

@@SynkyYou’re correct if they remember the title of the video. In my case I didn’t remember the title and I’m willing to admit that. Because of this, the view time bar was filled up all the way resulting in most of the thumbnails border being the same colored red. Since I didn’t remember the title and I couldn’t distinguish the view time bar, from what I thought to be the thumbnail border, I thought I hadn’t watched the video before and clicked it again. Flats probably isn’t doing it intentionally, but it did at least farm him one extra click, probably more, and it’s just annoying looking 😂

I got back into overwatch for a week or two.
Then I remembered sombra and widow still exist. Then I stopped playing again.
*Orisa and bastion are on the list for me. Easily counterable, but I like to play Winston and doom. I can play okay into them with those picks, but it’s not fun. Burnt on playing Zarya when I don’t feel like putting myself at a terrible disadvantage.
It's kind of weird that the best support answer to both of them is Kiriko. Like, she can off angle the Widow *and* she can peel the Sombra. A bit too versatile, but then again that wasn't news since her release
@@justinpennington6680bastion bugs me too. At least with him I can duel out of sentry form unlike sombra or just wait behind a wall for 4 seconds unlike widow.

Lets be honest, tank players wouldn't admit they were busted and running the game in OW1. Support is now doing the same. The least impactful role has always been DPS and the game would be terrible if it was run by DPS.

Played some qp yesterday and this happened twice. Bastion gets froze in mei ult with min two people looking at him and he survives both times 😭
The say KarQ popped off because they are so bad at the game that they don't know repositioning and taking an angle to heal or damage the 1v3 Winston ulting is more important than waiting around on the point.
taking away Hanzo's one shot means the only thing he is good at is tank busting. the problem is there are other heroes that are better. the most annoying thing i have noticed is that you cant even oneshot combo a reaper when he tps to you. a well timed headshot and melee combo used to be enough but now its not.

Yes I hope rein gets a huge buff he’s been so so so WEAK they normally just give him a small buff that doesn’t really help like hammer damage increased to 100 it was originally 80 same with firestrike buff it does 120 now instead of 100 he need a big buff not a small one

I just came from a few of the 6v6 vs 5v5 videos and just wanted to throw out an idea. Instead of arguing about the current format vs the old, why not change the role format. Keep 5v5 but have 5 roles, tank, tank/dps, dps, dps/support, and support. For example, Tanks (zarya, reinhart, winston, dva, sygma, ramatra, roadhog). Tank/Dps (orisa, mauga, wrecking ball, doomfist, junker queen, bastion, reaper). Dps (soldier, pharah, cassidy, widow, tracer, sojourn, genji, junkrat, ashe, hanzo). Dps/Support (sombra, symmetra, torbjorn, mei, moira, kiriko, baptiste). Support (mercy, brigette, life weaver, ana, illari, zenyatta).
Hi. I thought this was very interesting, allowing more flexibility in terms of choice. However, I wonder if tank health pools have to be reduced to allow that to happen, and if lowered health pools encourage playing a double tank comp meta to compensate. Anyway, just food for thought.
SOME supports can be very strong DPSers but that's only if they neglect their other duties.
Yeah a Bap can do more damage than a DPS but a DPS can't lamp or heal.
but bap's whole thing is being able to pump out the same amount of damage while healing. healing between shots is how top players play bap. they aren't neglecting their other duties.

Headshots are double damage for everyone besides two heros. Widow and kirko. Both of these heros have high crit modifiers

@@Sir_Radahn_the_fearless ik the map buddy I main sombra. It’s to help with knowing where your team is without having to physically turn your hero temporarily removing you from the fight. Also helps supports when someone is spamming “need healing” right next to them
Hanzo pocketed is the scariest shit in the game though. oneshot back, more storm arrow damage, and massive arrows is so much damage. but you have to play slime Hanzo which is stay out of enemy LOS and constantly peak different angles
I feel for Kiri the age they picked was to appeal to that young adult demographic first then failed didn't think to far ahead when saying she grew up with Hanzo and Genji
