However, before other young ladies with disabilities decide that they, too, wish to have a nice and supporting husband (like the one in the video), a world of caution is required. As a professor with a long association with the Dept. of Psychiatry, I have become aware of many cases in which disabled women became partners/wives of men who demean, use, and even abuse these often defenceless women. Girls with disabilities need to know of these dangers, before entrusting themselves to a man, who may not turn out as nice as he seemed befor the marriage. Not every man is as good a partner as Dejana’s excellent and supporting husband and father .
