A humble Mexican heritage warrior from New Mexico, which there are no huge cities there and not that many greats (God bless Jonny Tapia one of my favorite boxers and characters!) I watched so many of his fights live! I was born in Faking Sydney and grew up in Minnesota so you can imagine how Fakin excited I am for this War! I was a huge fan of Tim's Dad and watched Kostya KO Judah live! This could be fight of the Year!!!

So pumped for this fight they are both very very similar in terms of their mentality demeanor and attitide. I'm a complete Tszyu nutthugger but Mendoza is a class act. Ultimately Mendoza is coming off a good run but he's had 2 losses and if you check his opponents on boxrec a lot of them lots of losses I think Tims strengths will ultimately prevail over what maybe his toughest fight.

Brian Mendoza likes to fight at a distance as he springs with light feet and slip counter attacks. Tim needs to close off his distance off centre with jabs/cross and hooks. Body and uppercut combos close in. Brian tends to clinch when distance has been taken away from him. All about timing. Counter attack. Saving gas. Getting points. It will be a good fight. Hoping Tim gets the win.

Brian is really a nice guy but he never created those openings for the last 2ko's it was a lack of good defense from Banana man and Fundora and he just capitalized on the moment. Nothing is set in concrete but I'm pretty sure Tim is just gonna beat him to a pulp and when that happens Charlo will definitely duck him again.
