    Pretty low safety standards. How can a firefighter head off without being fully dressed & despite observe being engulfed in fire still head on to save an empty house?

      "without being fully dressed" Dressed in what exactly? Do you think they put on some Superman armor and that's it, they're safe? Get a grip on reality, kraut .

      @@sauceboy_5930 the issue is he is out of the vehicle without a shelter. That should be an automatic whenever you leave the vehicle in a fire ground situation. Not having gloves, his nomax hood for his neck and head. Those omissions are pretty hard to overlook as accidental. more like excessive incompetence.

The Operations Section Chief and the Division Supervisor are less likely to notice relevant information that may have altered their decisions and the subsequent events." From the Forest Service Report. People re only human.
