Horsley Hills: The place was initially named after a legend of a saintly old woman named Mallamma who lived on the top of the hill and was believed to have been fed by the elephants (yenugula). Later the place came to be known as Horsley hills when W.D. Horsley- a British collector- built his home there around 1870.

You had gone my native place madanapalli ,good to see my near by hill station through your video, from Bangalore you can go directly to madanapalli via chintamani & h cross.not necessity go to punganoor & kolar ,horly hills not known to many people ,with your video it will.reach many people ,
Last month we went to Horsley Hills, we stayed in the same place as well. And it will be little boring for night stay unless you are coming with friends. I found the hotel to be expensive for the quality of service and rooms. The food was good though.

We stayed in Haritha resort of Andhra tourism. It was wonderful experience. Bad part is people go there and drink and throw bottles even though the drinks are.expensive at top.
