Conducting the examination for 3.5 lakhs students all over again is no joke . It takes a lot of time , resources and so many other things all over again. Many students are even preparing for other competitive exams too. Grace marks doesn't give justice to everyone but that's the only thing that makes sense now .

Students travelled 30 to 50 kilometers to write the KCET 2024 exams, and parents also took leave for jobs and travelled with students spending 1000 of rupees for cabs to reach exam centers! After the KCET exam lots of students gave books to juniors and put books to old paper shop.

I have heard from other parents at the exam center that some coaching centers have told their students that such out of syllabus questions will be given. Also feedback from students preparing for advanced JEE is that out of syllabus questions were easier than in syllabus questions. These are serious allegations. Hope strict action is taken against the culprits. Conducting KCET 2024 again is only the proper way forward.
need justice for kcet students . what they mean I don't know. whatever they conduct Re-examination or awarding grace marks or removing questions which have appeared outside the syllabus!! If you give re-examination it will be late and no students will agree to this re-examination. If they awarding grace marks or removing questions which have appeared outside the syllabus. Is the best option .but There is no difference between the students who have studied hard and those who have study anything , they both will get the same rank. They consider by taking 50% of PUC Board marks and 50% of CET marks were used to give the CET rank. But now it is not a good decision to give grace marks or to delete all the questions from outside the ncert text. because which the students who read a lot will suffer. Along with awarding grace or delete the question they consider 75% PUC marks and 25% KCET marks is the best option!! For all the students.
I'm an ISC student, our exams are much much tougher than PU causing us to score lesser than y'all in boards but I have scored well in kcet.Where majority students in PU score almost full, we only score a max of 92%, why do we have to bear the brunt!? what about people like us??
Worst decision ever we all knw how puc board exams were conducted!!and how many ppl do copying and all shit every freaking person scores 99% in board exams now days who don't even know the subject names!
Re-exam is not ideal, the most sensible solution will be either give grace marks to questions that were out of syllabus or to consider only questions in syllabus, i mean if the actual paper was for 240 marks subtract the 45 questions to make the new total of 195 and give us marks for that. Ultimately the rank would be same in either case.

What about the people that studied chapters like vectors(because it has a lot of weightage) but only deleted topics came. Not their fault. They didn't even get to answer the questions properly because the questions were only wrong. Even though weightage for chapters are same this included deleted topics questions too. They didn't get to express their knowledge because the questions were asked for the same chapter but deleted topics

If they give grace it's not about 1 or 2 marks .it's about around 35-40 marks in PCM .which is unfair for students .
