Hey Wawi, thank you so much for making this video :D This was the first resource I consulted (about 3 months ago) to learn to ST stack and I recently made Top 3 in Primetime! I've been thinking about making a series detailing all the intricacies of ST Stacking I learned in my studies beyond this video. I appreciate your dedication to teaching and playing Tetris, keep it up! :]
I've watched this so many time. Your tutorials really are the best I've seen. I want to get good at this but man, it's soooo hard to keep it going. Even if I go slow, I just make bad decisions I guess. It seems like once I need to try to even things out and use an alt setup for the middle overhang, it's only a matter of a few t-spins before I get stuck. Edit: Reminder to me for when I come back to this video 14:30
Thank you so much for this video. I'm currently going for the platinum trophy on Tetris Effect, which requires earning SS in every game mode. I got SS on Ultra a few minutes ago using ST stacking and your tutorial helped me a lot in this learning process.
This video helps me even one year later! Thanks man! And idk but it is just so sad that FLAMEWHEEL isn't watching this. Idk but I just have a sad feeling about it. But thanks man!
@21:21 you should either put the O on far left or J far left standing up. It "feels" right to flatten it off like you did but you are causing an I, L dependency which comes back to cause a problem only a few pieces later. Two Ts on the left is absolutely correct, one Z on the left is manageable for a while (quite a while if you're good) but optimal is to get two Z to the left fairly early on. I've completed marathon on level 15 using only this method and trust me, two Z on the left will make your life a whole lot easier.
Did anyone realize that he made the number 1 with the t pieces at 23:25. Also, when doing this setup, do you have to eventually do a reset or is it possible to go through this forever without resetting.
This is like iplay tetrisbattle's T-spin tutorial part 3 Also 14:21 the reason why you need to reset is because the I pieces are being used to perform Tetrises instead of stacking in the left part thereby lowering the stack.
Nice video! I already knew how to ST stack, but I saw this for fun. I have to say that I didn't fully understand the reason behind the reset. Why is the "right side being too high" a problem? Wouldn't that be solved by doing tetrises? I might have misunderstood
the 12 000 views are from the 12 people who learned this but watched it a thousand times
And now its the 12 people who watched it 2,806 times.
@@asheep7797 can confirm, been back to this video exactly 1806 times in the last 3 years
Using this for primetime. This is incredibly detailed, thanks so much for your hard work! Great vid

woah, I just searched tetris primetime and your video was the second to come up!

This strategy is actually so much fun lol

I hope you’ve got 1 million rotations by now
Got it on May of last year
@@matheusfaria1772 congrats I just started Tetris effect and I know I’m gonna dread those achievements
It's a long learning process, but it's worthwhile. Good luck and practice!
@@matheusfaria1772 thanks! Are there any strategies you used for 1 mill rotations?

Nice, ive been interested in st stacking for a while
Lol
This is a nice guy , it seems he really enjoys tetris and teach about it.

There's still a lot of confusing jargon that I've yet to learn. But then again, this is the first in-depth Tetris tutorial I've watched. =D

A_Random_Person you’ll have to reset at some point (usually around 50-60k points on jstris)
Wawi Tetris ok thanks. I thought I could get away with just doing st stacking without it but I’ll practice resetting more.
i've wanted a st tutorial for a while
thanks
some good stuff! happy your back!
amazing video dude thank you so much I love the amount of detail keep up the good work
I was waiting for this one for so long and it was worth it, good video !
you're the guy who taught me finesse all those months ago, nice to see you still making tutorials
yet his finesse is kinda bad... ngl
@@donnguyen166 teaching finesse is way easier than being good at finesse
This is super badass. Going to have to work my way there. I don't know where to go past tspin recognition. Going to look on a slower page.
So glad you're back!!!
Im seeing this set up and now i know what's the name of that thank you new subscriber

Thank you so much this helps me a lot your awesome
If you haven’t already, buy a switch and get puyo puyo Tetris, so tight
Thank you!!! New record after being stuck at 19k on ultra and I was slow and only got a t spin single on one of them.
Love the tutorials 😔
thank you for making these vids
will you do a video on the 4 wide strat? :)
A PowerPoint and everything, damn!

because you haven’t completed the rest of the line, so you’ll start getting tspin nulls if you don’t reset
He lives!
👀
Except for Twitch I guess
When will the nect tutorial be released?
nomakappa hmmm whenever I’m less busy 😅
love the beard
Ryan Vigil quarantine life, gotta let it go free lol
@@wawitetris5887 indeed
This shit is going to make me have aneurysm. Everything goes wrong after I get my first T-spin. I can’t get those center formations down.
Chandler Anthony lol it takes some practice for sure :P
I still don't entirely know what you mean with 'reset'
NoFontNL the right side gets higher faster than the center or left side, so you run out of room. the reset is a step you have to do to make more room
@@wawitetris5887 Ahh, okay. Thanks for replying this quickly!
Does this assume a fixed piece order?
nope
that moment when you dont even understand what a parity is (or however u spell it)
Hell yeah
I'm here because Tetris started doing the nightly competitions 😂
But the controls are poop
Same are you good at the game
@@sadg2927 not really 😂
Mini-Ninja I’ve learn how to st stack so at my highest score is 100k 😂😂 and i’m struggling a little bit but is pretty good
Do you play classic Tetris
I do not
why not teach lst? it doesn't waste any T pieces, allows 3 combos while keeping b2b and is much easier to do
yeah it’s good for multiplayer for that reason
Wtf he has a beard now???
Wawi!!!!
hi im fan
this isn't beginner enough for me, lol its so harddddddd
DireSheep it’s not meant for beginners haha
Wawi Tetris then where would I learn this strat?
learn the basics in my earlier tutorials haha
I dont understand a word but im trying to learn how to play
King Creeper watch my other tutorials! this is not meant for beginners
Wawi Tetris ok
Yeah i don't think I can do this.
