@@jlol8482 - The actors in this scene actually talked to the writers about the handcuffs, and they were going to handcuff her but the actors had them change that part of the scene, so no handcuffs
GH quickly took care of that by saying Esme covered her tracks. The writers didn't put the detail and care into this storyline, but then again, they don't with any storyline these days. either the writers are incredibly lazy or the powers that be simply don't care if GH is a really good soap or not.
This was the last episode before things went downhill. GH had a real opportunity here to send these kids on an adventure of investigating to prove Esme did it...sort of like when Elizabeth, Nicholas, Lucky and Emily investigated who was blackmailing Emily or trying to find out how that dead cop ended up in bed with Emily. They had a real chance to recreate the fab four. But with lazy writers who don't support the show's history, and seem not to care about keeping fans interested, the storyline it turned into a plate of crumbs. GH sucks.
"You won't be alone. I'll stop in and check on you." Literally my reaction: 🤦🏾♀...He's just giving her room to create the illusion that something's going on between them. I hate that they were finally getting rid of Esme and they didn't even like her, now Laura and Nikolas are trying to make her stay. 🙄
This is easy to figure out esme setup trina , trina gets arrested, joss goes after esme to get trina free ends up attacking esme esme gets "hurt" and loses her "baby" now joss and trina are in trouble esme looks like the victim and even though everyone knows its esme that's the problem there's not enough proof , carly gets involved to help joss but is on record for having "hurt" esme in public in front of Nicolas, Nicolas becomes Esme's defender against his wife who is on Trina's side and Esme uses the death of there "baby" to guilt Spencer back into her life 😂
At least Dante made the comment that the phone wasn't pword protected... So they got to know something's fishy & she's being set up.. Almost everybody has a pword on their phones... It was so sad to see her stop & turn to look at her parents...
I can't believe this. All this is Esme's doing. Spencer is a sucker and should've ended this sooner when his friends told him that girl was no good. Boy he will change his tune when he finds out that the girl he wanted to really have is held in police custody.
Esme better watch her back cuz once taggart, Portia, carly, sonny, maybe Scott or diane, ava, spencer finds real hard proof that it was esme she's done for she mess with wrong people
The writers..the writers! We know its a storyline with the Trina arrest, (with so many loopholes I might add) however, it would augur well to be a bit more sensitised to this whole issue of Esme reeking havoc with no recourse, and yet Trina is arrested in the blink of an eye. This is 2022 people, and 'the look' of this whole scenario is really not a good one, especially in the world as we know it today! Again General Hospital,... Do Better!!

Even though he’s her step-brother he is still a detective. Hitting him with other cops and the commissioner in the room wouldn’t be smart.He would have to definitely arrest her. Just like Jordan arrested Micheal.
1) Dante did NOT press charges. He quietly escorted Trina to booking without even putting hand cuffs on her. 2) The PCPD was going to arrest Trina. If Dante didn't take her to booking then another cop would have. I don't think you understand how the police system works. Dante does not have the kind of power you seem to think he does.

The whole thing broke my heart. I want this to bring Taggert and Portia back together and get Spencer and Trina together finally! Also...is Esme trying to get Nik into bed? Are they trying to make her the new Carly/Nelle?
I disagree with most of the comments here. I think this storyline is good for Trina and her family. I don’t want her stuck in no bubble. Everyone knows she innocent. It will be nice to see her proven innocent and then read Esme for her privilege.
WOW I'm disappointed in the writers, why go this route. I hope a livestream featuring the cast and production team explaining this plot twist explains what's happening. This is a major turn-off

She might not look like the actress before her but that's most recasts on soaps....lol But I think she's done a pretty solid job for it only being her first couple of days. I'm excited to see how she progresses in the role.
@@G4Rat I’m unbiased either way. I just started watching Sprina clips over a week ago so I don’t have massive ties Sydney other than the clips concerning her and Spencer’s storyline. And Tabyana has been fine to me, but I’m still reserved until I see a scene with her and NAC. And I would feel that way about any replacement. But I’m sure a lot of people are disappointed that Sydney left just as a very heavy story plot that they wished she could have seen through.
And how do you want her to look? To look like the previous actress and have curly hair. Please...recasts happen and Tabyana is doing an amazing job. If she is this good after just to episodes, I wonder how she will be in a few months.

This is every cop parent's worst nightmare. When your own kid is arrested and sent to jail and you can't do anything to stop it.

Felt bad for Trina being framed. Tabyana was better here. However I can't help but envision how Sidney would have done the scene
