I had my FET almost exactly one week after yours in Syracuse. I was in great spirits and I had such high hopes afterward. And it failed…so upsetting considering we had done “everything right”. Found out the Friday before Father’s Day. But we just have to keep trying and moving forward. Ultimately, we want our baby. I’m praying for us both🙏🏼

Sorry it didn't work out Sherri! I totally get what you are saying about not being sure about going through egg retrieval again. I am 40 this year and after going through the IVF process twice, have decided that if things don't work out with the frozen embryos we do have, then I am not going through it all again. Egg retrieval was really hard for me and I had a lot of complications both during and after the procedure. I am 6 weeks pregnant at the moment but after a miscarriage in March I am only too aware of the many hurdles we still have to cross before ever getting to hold a baby of my own. I'm so sorry things didn't work out 😔 just FYI, in the UK women are able to have what's called nuclear transplant for their eggs where the mitochondria from a younger egg replaces that of the older egg, enabling much older women to still have a baby with their dna. More research is being done before it is approved in the US but talks are on the table and this could be a real thing here soon. Motherhood happens even naturally past the early 40s. I had a supervisor who had both her kids in her mid/late 40s naturally. A friend's mom had her last baby naturally at 45/46. My fertility masseuse had her last baby at 46. Halle Berry was like 46/47 when she had her last baby. I know these are rare occurrence, but don't give up hope about what God can do using your own eggs that He has blessed you with. 🙏🏿 I'm praying for many blessing and much courage and comfort to you hon. ❤️

I am happy to hear you are taking it easy and addressing your mental health. Although I was a bit naive about my IVF journey on the onset (I thought I'd get pregnant the first transfer) I knew I had to get my body and especially my mind together. I'm a therapist myself, and I value the importance of therapy. My therapist has been right by my side through my entire journey; so has my family and friends. It's so important! One day at a time. I hope you two continue to be kind to yourselves. ❤️

Sherri you are victorious already! I will not say "I know how you feel". Because I don't. I pray for all of us ladies everyday. "So many things can go wrong regardless how things are done right". Let's continue to support and pray for each other. We don't know each other but we have each other in prayers including CNY.

Hi Sherri! I am so sorry to hear that your transfer didn't take 😔 you're definitely in my prayers 🙏 I'm a patient at CNY Fertility as well and my doctor has me priming for 30 to possibly 60 days because of my age. I'm 48 and am 2 weeks into priming with Omnitrope and LDN to improve my egg quality before doing the actual ivf cycle. I'm just curious to know if they had you do the same. Maybe priming before your next ivf cycle could be something you can consider and possibly discuss with your doctor. My doctor also has me taking Serovital and a few other supplements for inflammation. I definitely think you should keep trying. Your baby is on the way ❤️ I'm a patient out of the Colorado clinic. It was closer to Texas.

Hi Lateatra. Nice to hear from another CNY patient. I actually did prime before my egg retrieval with Omni, LDN and a bunch of other supplements. This was actually the best results I’ve had so far in terms of number I’d mature eggs. Still sometimes there is just Mk guarantee that the embryos will implant. I’m wishing you the best on your journey and please keep me posted!

We’re almost on the same boat.. I’m 38 with 4 small fibroids going through the ttc struggles.. just made my first appointment with cny fertility. Unfortunately is not till November.

im so sorry girl!! Ive had 4 failed transfers. we talked on FB about it. have you tried to grow your embryos day 5 and have them PGS tested? It will work evetually dont give up.
Thank you so much! We have tried at a different clinic and only got 1 blast which came back abnormal so we didn't want to test this time around so we could transfer on day 3. Thank you we will keep trying!

Oh nooooo. I washed your last video and you said if you are not pregnant you will not post the video but you did and I was happy and smiling for the success till I heard it was not a success. Am feel discouraged because I had a fibroid surgery last year and still have some fibroids now. am about to go through same process in cny. I don't know what to do. God help me.

Is fibroid embolization an option? I wish I had known about that b4 I had my fibroids removed to see if I would be a good candidate
We did 2 rounds of ivf that were unsuccessful after my fibroids surgery. Mine were also on the outside of the uterus. TBH I wish i had never had that surgery done. I have a huge scar and its a constant reminder of what "didnt happen". 😪 But I 100% agree with therapy! I've been seeing a therapist for the last year and it has been a tremendous help. I feel like I get things off my chest. IvF causes a lot of stress and pressure. My therapist also introduced me to the enneagram. And that helped me see how I process thing and why I handle things the way I do.
Not right now, I heard it can really damage your lining so it's best to do it after you've finished having kids. Oh wow I am sorry to hear that about your fibroid surgery. Are they saying that you would have to have a c section when you do give birth because of the surgery scar? Therapy is so wonderful it's been so helpful to me too. Good luck in your journey!
@@sherriyvette Yes. They said i would have to have a c-section. All I know is my cousin had the embolization done and she got pregnant right after. Lol. After years of not being able to conceive
