What a fantastic interview! So pleasant to watch and listen to, I enjoyed every minute of it! Ed Bradley was so natural, relaxed and friendly the whole time - made U2 feel like they were talking to an old friend. Just awesome!

Lmao you guys seem pretty jealous of the biggest band in the world, don’t you? Sad.

Why does he charge and credit check for his fan club? Why does he not pay taxes in Ireland?. Why when he could get it did he raise his concert tickets to a minimum of $ 300 - $ 500??????

Fan club isn’t run by their parents. They employ people who they have to pay. It’s not a charity. Yes they moved part of their business to lower taxes. Bono is even quoted as saying he’d probably join the protest if he was on the other side of it. It’s just business. And tickets are expensive for big hugs. Staging / crews are huge amounts for all the big artists. Be annoyed at the tax thing, but the other things are unavoidable.

@@touringband what you say makes no sense. I didnt say anything about his parents. No other American stars like Beyonce or Miley Cyrus charge for their fan clubs and the latter supports great charities no one talks about. He was formerly paying no taxes at all in Ireland when he took his money out of the country. He raised his ticket prices knowing he could get that money. It was a crafty business move

So called facts are way off. Concert tickets are priced reasonable, lowest around $55. in US - they don't control the up sellers
