Does this core only work for games that have one disc? i tried to load this core up to multi disk games but it always crashes. Also, even though games with one disc work flawless with the core, they still crash every time i make a save state or load a save state. Is it because of the usb that i use that does this? No prob! But it's all different now and maybe hardcoded so the easiest would be to just rename the core.
Can I just add the HD extreme core to my retroboot cores folder where the other cores are located ? Or is it more complicated then that. PSXX rearmed has been awesome with the enhanced feature but unfortunately a lot of games run extremely slow when it's turned on hopefully this could fix that issue or we will have to wait until someone can come with a fix.
why not just use the Neon or neon extreme but turn on the enhanced resolution? I've still found the original neon core (not the extreme) to be the best. Neon extreme is great but you cant save games states in the carousel with it.
Basically the same. You need to turn off the save state compression in order to save from the carousel. However it's been reported that it doesn't work for HD Xtreme. Better to save within RA.
@@TritonusRavenyeah, you have to turn off compression for kmfd cores to save in carousel, but all the new xtreme cores won't save in carousel no matter what you do. Maybe he'll change that in the future. He's always working and doing cool stuff

Interesting that tekken 3 has interlacing issues. I normally run games with aspect ratio set to 1:1 which im assuming is the roms native resolution. It should be possible with GBS-Control since it can even scale modern consoles like the Switch to CRT.

The differences:
PSX CPU Clock 70
Enable Interlacing Mode on
Enhanced Resolution (Slow) on
Enhanced Resolution (Speed Hack) on

It's definitely better than the standard PCSX ReARMed. I only use the standard for comparison.
