Nobody should assault girls but the law should take its due course. There are bad things in Hinduism too but it should be dealt with legally. Just, we are sharing of our perceptions. The only concern is our words should be constructive for us and others, if not better be calm. :) . Fundamentally our current education system becomes business and teach only survival of the fittest strategies with some intellectual stuffs and not at all focusing real human values such as one of the key purpose of men is protecting women not assault them. As a hu(man) being, we have to initiate and practice it inside our families which helps to bring fine society outside with an awesome heart culture. if we are all start to leading the life through our clear conscience , then no space for any kind of perishable things in this society. It is an everyone's responsibility. As an individual, I need to stick with this basic morality instead of expecting others need to follow. This is what everyone have to do by themselves, if we want to live in healthy society..!!

@@azurakadir5992 I avoid passing easy opinions about current affairs without knowing things fully. I did not follow this issue in detail. But I understand it is to do with some sexual violence in an institute. Sexual violence in any form is not acceptable. Voicing out such offenses on the spot by the affected person is easier said than done. I agree with what she said in the video. Not only this issue, but many issues get debated, tweaked, given a political twist etc. just to be forgotten without taking concrete actions. If so, what is the point in saying one’s opinions ? To me, it does not matter and is a waste of time. Instead, the first concrete action one can take in my opinion is to stop giving opinions and practice abstinence from sexual violence towards anyone in one’s own life. I practice that with integrity already. Of course, I know that alone is not enough to bring a change in the society. But I think I am far better than people who give opinions on the hot topics that come up every week, but don’t put anything into practice. Thanks.

I knew of it about the same time everyone else did. If you are referring to sreenath, he was employed by me for a short time and I had fired him from his job and warned him. But he was not with kalakshetra at that time.

Thank you ma’am, also I would like to highlight that the ICC committee was not there when I studied under the institution, which is not more than an year now. After the protest only I guess the ICC committee has been started, in which a student representative is also not appointed.
In India, there are no legal policies that could handle bullying in school. In other words, bullying is not technically illegal. However, if the person commits the act of bullying and then the victim committed suicide, then the bullied will be liable for the abetment of suicide under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code.
In other words, the laws will act only at the consequences of the action. The severe flaw in the legal system makes bullying a recurrent theme in school and how the place that was supposed to make a child into an adequate member of society ironically hates the latter because the place itself was toxic. they care about fees but not the mental health of students.

My MBA batchmate taught me a painful lesson for teasing her. I used to tease girls a lot and act cool during my college days. I always used to pull her hair. Once i pulled her hair hard as i always used to. She never used to get angry but that day got wild at me. Unfortunately for me that day she was having a long fat umbrella with a long n sharp tip at the end. She started chasing me wildly. I tried to escape but i slipped a bit and had to stop running to regain my balance. She caught me and gave me one hard whack on my bum with her umbrella. The sharp edge of the umbrella pierced my bum royally. I couldnt sit for two days. I kept rubbing my bum till i reached home. After that day i don't think i teased girls and women.

If u see this issue at a larger level, where outbursts and protests are taking place in several central universities and centrally funded government institutions, in the recent decade, one can also look at it as a crisis in leadership. Harassment as an issue has been there in many workplaces even earlier but the way leadership could handle them did the difference. But now we see a crisis in leadership. Many of the appointed Directors and Vice Chancellors are unable to manage the crisis. This is true with the former VCs of NEHU, Shillong or Viswava Bharathi University or the oresent Director of Kalakshetra. Central government really needs to give it a thought and appoint educational leaders with a different approach. It all depends on the leadership and its ability to allow the functioning of the ICCS.
