There is an 10 day cooling off period b4 the decision is final. Fifita had every right to change his mind. It is allowed. Both teams knew it. The battlers won, and, the silvertails cannot cop it. Too bad! 😂😂😂
4:06 latrell is probably a really nice guy, off the field. Don’t know him personally, can’t speak to his personal experiences. What I have issue with is his attitude on the field, and the media has to take a lot of the blame for it. They’ve built him up to be a player he is not…..compared to so many others in the game. The media does this with lots of players, who then lose their way, but the media doesn’t take responsibility for their actions. Not sure how I feel about the situation at the moment, but things are not good at Souths. I don’t think bennett is the right solution. He may be a good coach, but he’s left teams in worse shape when he leaves and it takes years for them to repair the damage. Brisbane, St George, Newcastle and Souths have all struggled after he’s left. I know I’m rambling but that’s how everything seems to be at the moment. A big mess, with no immediate answer available.
Latrell though has been that guy.. we have seen him be that guy. On the up n rising even more... Maybe he has seen what happened to turbo (how many times his legs going to fk him :/) n hes playing scared n frustrated n that's what's showing on the field. Mental demons from injuries are legit. Something definitely not right. He needs to have a yak to nichos mind guy to help with his mindset. (Dont talk to choc.. he will tell to go boxing lol)
Well he didn’t leave South’s in worst shape. Took us to the GF. The trouble is, the coaches that follow don’t have the demeanor of Wayne and they can’t control the fools above them. JD is a good coach but he couldn’t control the nuts in the asylum
@@davidfife-nm7uyHe did leave south’s in bad shape just look at them and I agree coaches have the same demeanour as Wayne but Teams tend to struggle after Wayne leaves no coach has lasted 3 seasons after him it’s not Wayne’s fault it’s just true that teams struggle after
I think Latrell needs a strong role model in his life I think people close to him don’t pull him in line and give him tough love therefore no accountability
I feel like he bought too much into his own hype and became lazy instead of continuing to improve. He never lost the chub, he doesn’t put in 110% effort on the field and now he seems too focused on protecting his image off field. Had he kept working he’d at expanding his game and worked on his fitness he would be one of the best right now. Addo-Carr did the same thing, he bought into his own hype and became lazy thinking he didn’t have to improve anymore, now at the dogs he’s starting to expand his game a little.
Can someone please tell Latrell to stop doing his shirt dropouts cause for the like if me he cannot do them , he is the worst at it and still does it, why has t the coach said something, just so frustrating when he dies and the opposition scores a try two tackles later . Just stop for Christ sake as Souths will have no one going to the games
Why does anyone do short drop outs ever. Ask Reynolds about his stupid one in gf and panthers scored. I don’t get it. Mitchell lost the game with that. Rabitohs scored later so they could have won if cowboys don’t get that free try then.
Why you would do them at all, unless it’s time running out or more than 6 behind late is ludicrous. Drop it out as far as you can and let defence do it. Can’t walker kick the dropout anyway. He is a kicker, or ilia’s Hawkins, whoever at 7.
Apparently its a percentage play that Coaching staff in the NRL are big on. Statistically its easier for Clubs to defend short kick offs than a drop kick long. Hence why we are seeing more players attempt it.
Latrell started getting booed after he said that Spencer Leniu should be banned for half the season for calling Ezra Mam a monkey. He's too outspoken on racial issues for the Australian public. It is unconscious racism and it's widespread in our culture unfortunately. He's done nothing grubby off the field to warrant getting booed every game and he's nowhere near the worst on the field. It's extremely similar to the Adam Goodes saga and it's so obvious. Other players get booed for a game or two like David Fifita or Payne Haas over contract issues. But when it is every week it's straight up bullying and damaging to a persons mental health. South Sydney's slump started last year when Latrell got injured and before that they were winning and he was playing the same way. He's a low output, high impact player. Did David Fifita get booed every game for the same thing?
Latrell struggles with grubbers, he is way out of position, if he had the gas tank to take on isaah yeo type roll! He would be a wrecking ball, F''k he has got good hands!
Who is Taylan May? Michael Jennings? Matt Lodge? Braydon Trindall? Val Holmes? Brandon Smith? Cameron Munster? It's such a beat up he has done nothing anywhere near close to other players ..btw I'm a Sharks fan and I think it's horrendous how Latrell is constantly being attacked by these media hacks

I am more concerned about Taylan May Michael Jennings and a player being investigated for R ..why don't you go after the real problems in the NRL?
Latrell just looks old, not lacking motivation. Good luck to Wayne fixing that. Cody too.

Seems like Fifita was bound to cop criticism if he signed or if he didnt.

Latrell is a spoiled, look at me, big baby. That is why he is disliked.
Sorry gordo I can’t see titans winning a gf in David’s era
Exactly same with Jack Wighton, he ain't winning a comp either at South's, Bennett won't fix that sh1tshow

Souths got bigger problems than Latrell doing short dropouts 😂

Totally agree. Just like Reynolds in last years GF. Failed on the first but just kept going there

Latrell is weak minded and needs to grow up, one of the least professional players of any sport
