And even when they are enemies, he still tries to reason with them with words rather than a duel, just like with Akiza. I'm glad I got to watch this show as a kid and have such an inspiration during a bad time in my life.

Seto, on the other hand, was raised by an over-strict adoptive father and was only ever encouraged when he showed ruthlessness and ambition for its own sake (though Gozaburo still wildly underestimated Seto's intelligence, ironically the only thing he was impressed by when Seto was an orphan). Seto Kaiba only ever had to rise up through the ranks of the hierarchy he was already brought into, and to do that he had to look at everyone around him, apart from his little brother, as fierce rivals to be better than, and to be defeated. Jack Atlas had to transition to a whole new type of society, as New Domino was very different from how he lived in the Satellite - also don't forget that he was already an adult, so his capacity for friendship was already fully developed, whereas Seto's was beaten out of him when he was still quite young. Considering that, Kaiba is actually fairly civil to his employees and other people - it's rivals that he looks down to, as he was taught to do and has a comparatively limited ability to overcome. Hey, the guy still transformed his company from a military industrial complex to a gaming world and built amusement parks for people to have fun.

I love how the end of the last episode and the beginning of this one makes you think some old animosity or rivalry existed between Crow and Yusei before it's established they're just bros.
Funny thing is that Crow was originally planned to be a recurring villain before being revealed as the final Dark Signer. He would have had a history of trying to steal Yusei's runner and was an overall thief. I don't know how much the popularity of Blackwings had an effect on his changes other than being one of the most well known factors.

At least none that I can find to double-check. Maybe it's just tired paranoia, but it seems odd that such important behind the scenes information has more or less vanished.

Blackwing Armor Master is superb, since he cannot let you lose any LP from battles involving it and it cannot be destroyed in battle. If he attacked an enemy monster, it leaves a Wedge Counter. When a Wedge Counter is removed from an enemy monster, the monster’s Attack and Defense Points become 0 until the end of the turn. But card effects can still counter it and break its shield down.
I'm just glad that Carly did not do the article at all because she doesn't like people from New Domino City pointing fingers at Jack Atlas just because he's from Satellite and he is very greatful towards Carly is not doing the article about him at all.

Man, I don't know why, but I always find Crow's duels so fun. The flurry of combos and his sass just get me, even though its a common trait for Yu-Gi-Oh characters. Hope I can get my hands on a Blackwing Deck at some point - I'm trying and failing to unlock him in Duel Links. ;v;

Man, I don't know why, but I always find Crow's duels so fun. The flurry of combos and his sass just get me, even though its a common trait for Yu-Gi-Oh characters. Hope I can get my hands on a Blackwing Deck at some point - I'm trying and failing to unlock him in Duel Links. ;v;

So Sector Security can override Duel Runners with Speed World card to force someone trying to evade them into a duel instead of, y’know, just straight up disabling their Duel Runner?

Jack is like Kaiba, they both hate fun and rarely smile and are top notch duelists. 😅😂
The only difference between him and Kaiba that Jack began to grow as a selfless and caring person after Carly made him realize that.
