I watched the pre-game show on TBS last night. As soon as it started, the four guys behind the desk wasted no time mentioning the Astros scandal in 2017. Never even came close to mentioning the Yankees letter that proved they were cheating.

Even as an Astros fan I couldn't disagree more. The Yankees legacy will forever keep them at the top no matter how much they win or lose. Living in Europe I see tons of people wearing Yankees hats who have never seen a single pitch thrown.

Why the Yankees don't lead off with someone who can draw walks, and also hit for a decent average is surprising. Except not too many are hitting for a good average. You have to have runners on for Judge and other power hitters. It isn't usually going to be the ones batting 7,8,9. It's one thing to try and get the guy the home run record during the regular season, but in the playoffs, you need more than one run if you hit a homer. My favorite stat given by Sterling in the playoffs, the Yankee announcer, is... The hitter up (don't remember his name) is 0 for 5 with no home runs and 1 rbi. Duh, on the home run total ! As in Duhhhh Yankees lose ! Lol 😀
