asphalt, drywall, composite flooring, and the worst invention of all time….vinyl siding…GROSS.
i’ve been repairing and remodeling these old new england houses for forty years, and i can honestly say i hate these old houses. HATE. this all solid wood houses are a sweet dream in my opinion.

@@ginoasci2876 these particular houses I don't know where they are built, but here in Germany the traditional way of building is called "Fachwerk" with a solid oakwood frame and bricks inbetween or from Sweden we adapted the block house system with walls out of stacked pine logs. Most people still build houses made out of brick though. This in the video is a niche thing I think

In North America we call those sheds.
These are quite ingenious, lincoln log / tongue and groove houses; but how much time was used to actually make all the parts, prior to start of the build. The one house?, was just a 400 sq/ft shed, that could of been built with 2x4's and sheet plywood, just as as fast or faster. In fact none of these were a standard 3600sq/ft house., that I could see, the last one maybe a 1200 sq/ft building.
Insulation has left the build …..

not enough R value in the thin timbers for extreme cold climate.
That's what I was thinking.
If you have thick walls you can do it with timber. Here in Finland we have manufacturers who does 11 inch thick walls from glue laminated timber and it works well in -30 degrees of Celsius.
@@mr.wizeguy8995 Here in Colorado 6" is minimum log thickness for our climate but 8" to 10" is much better.

So the first one is kind of like wood bricks / lego sorta' thing. Clever.
The second one is literally wooden LEGOS. That's fun. There was a gap, filled with... brown pebbles? 7:50 I assume that's for insulation? What exactly was that stuff? I was bummed we didn't see further into that house's progress.
The second is fancy Lincoln Logs. Also fun. What's with the leafy branches at the rooftops at 10:48?
Let us see a 4 bedroom 3.5 bath house with a family living it. They look like a cabin/week end house for the lake or hunting or vac house for the summer where you would live outdoors most of the day!!! I am the company making the pieces can afford a demo house complete with baths and kitchen etc...... What happens if pipe in the wooden wall bust or leeks over time ????

Здорово. Только этот дом нельзя назвать бревенчатым, бревенчатый это из бревен, а у вас из доски. Бревенчатый будет значительно крепче пожалуй.
Следующий уровень - слепить дом из спичечных коробков :)

Drewnex has been the best so far for a number of reasons: using natural materials, shows structural integrity, aesthetic design and beauty with character, pleasant finishing touches by going the 'extra' mile, they get an A, well actually they should get an A+ because it was older guys showing up the young guys
This house wont stand a chance against bad weather, let alone tornado or hurricane. Brick, mortar and concrete makes a sturdy house.

So many commercials the video is practically unwatchable. But I skipped 'em all so that I could see the project--which was well done--completed, only to have the video cut off at the end not even giving a walk-thru tour of the completed structure inside/out. That's beyond annoying... one might say infuriating.

I love all of these ideas.
They look simple to build.
And they all seem to do away with drywall (which I am COMPLETELY sick of here in America).
The only things I wonder about is durability, cost and I wish they would learn that glue can be your friend.
The Japanese didn't use glue in there construction methods nor nails and there house's with stood earthquakes

Try and find an affordable plasterer.

What a waste of lumber. Why use wood that will rot, warp, split and burn, when you could just as easily have used brick or aerated concrete.

Glued chipboard and thin lumber-logs do not a log home make. I would not live in this house if it was given to me free of charge.
That's not a log home, that's a log sided home. When you have to put insulation between the outside wall and the inside wall coverings, it's a log sided home, not a log home.

La verdad....que de los nuevos métodos de construcción, debe ser el mejor. Es sólido, es continuo...está clavado, tiene muuuy pero muuuuy buena aislación térmica y acústica...Un detalle que me gustó es el marco de la ventana...bastaaaante espeso y éso asegura mayor aislación térmica.... El color dado con el barnizado es genial y muuuy hermoso. Muy buenos criterios de trabajo. Prolijo y práctico. ¡¡¡Me parece que es el mejor sistema mostrado después de las cabañas hechas con troncos desde hace más de 100 años!!!.

Делал подобные дома, очень теплые, внутри жковата и ни каких мышей. Наружная стенка 90 мм, внутренняя 42 мм, собирать одно удовольствие т стоит долго

пока проЭкт,пока утвердить,потом нарезать,склеить и т.д. ,до монтажа 2-3 месяца если не больше! и ценник ,я уверен ! , 33 этажный,производство явно не в россии,ни кто не будет покупать станки за 10 миллионов деревяшки резать ,кучка заграничных "половой свай" и геморой обеспечен! живу в доме купленном,короче сюда надо еще столько же вложить ... НЕЛЬЗЯ СТРОИТЬ ДОМ ЗА 1 день или даже за месяц... это долгий процесс ,сраный сарай стоить неделю ...

Holz ist Holz, es verfault schnell, besonders unten, wenn es vom Beton schlecht isoliert ist, so was kann man als Gartenschuppen verwenden und nicht als Haus, wegen schlechter Isolation.

Лего. Готовый домокомплект на станках точных сделанный будет да, быстро. А самому вручную легче из кругляка построить
В первом случае это не дом а курятник. Во втором случае - рассадник плесени и грибка. В третьем видео - можно было и каркасный поставить, все равно с утеплителем, а что третий ряд стропил не поставили. Хрень короче - не вздумайте так строить.
Fastest? Where is the 16'' OC framing with T111 siding? Done and lowest cost too. Cavity for insulation plumbing wiring etc.

Относительно быстрый, да. Но ремонтонепригодный и (опять!!!) не бревенчатый.
Fast, perhaps, but a gigantic amount of work went into the prefabrication of the site assembled components. And as you saw, it took a large crew to put it together. Also, there is a huge amount of wood in this structure. Granted that this home will have much of this exposed as the final finished surfaces, but still, that's a lot of wood. I'm sure it's a very fine home, but likely cost prohibitive for most people.
Probably wouldn't qualify for fire insurance.
