Power Armour uses internal hydraulic joints and servomotors, the wearer is not weighed down because it’s more like a vehicle with its own metal skeleton and chassis that you drive and operate. The power armour in fallout works similar in principle to Ellen Ripleys mechanical forklift loader in Aliens.
I am a massive fallout fan played all the games and I have to say that they did a fantastic job with staying true to the fallout universe. The series is set 9 years after the events of Fallout 4.
Ehhh, they make some questionable choices with cannon, but I could accept this as an alternative fallout universe. Yeah I know it's supposed to be cannon, but 76 is supposed to be cannon too.
5min in I already love Kendra 😍 I've never played fallout, but enjoyed this series enough to watch it twice...and likely a third time before the year is out!
This is the show that got me playing FO3 & NV for the first time. And now there is FO London. Keep an eye on how Lucy's "Okey Dokey" changes throughout the show...The Ghoul always gave me Outlaw Josey Wales vibes.
While most people hate 76, I actually enjoyed it once I started playing it. (I picked it up when it was on sale for 10 dollars) However it does make a total mess of the lore so it's best to treat it like an alternative fallout universe.
The characters here are all original, so you don’t need to know anything from the games. The factions, locations, and timeline all follow the games however, so everything in the show is considered canon to the games, and vice versa. Also, it’s Walton Goggins, not Walter Groggins. And yes, the performance by Aaron Moten is equally brilliant. Can’t wait to see you continue.
"video game stuff" yes exactly, if you keep that in mind then the unrealistic things that happen will flow right by. Yes all original characters. The games have no real interconnecting stories or characters and they are not close in time to each other. Norm by the end of series is my favorite character. With the exception of DC, the cities you visit in game aren't completely demoloshed. In Boston you can find evidence of survivors living in the city in the days after the bombs. The bombs that were used must have been low yield, mostly
Yeah, except for the one that created The Glowing Sea. I've never been able to decide if that nuke was targeted deliberately at the Sentinel Base, or was in fact meant for Boston...
@simongvs that was an industrial area. I don't think remains of houses can be found there. It must have been built away from any city or town for secrecy regions. Boston itself is mostly in tact. There's the area that attracts ghouls (that I can't remember the name of right now) that's likely the site of the placed bomb in Boston proper but that's it. I do wonder about the one you see detonate in the opening scene. Was that in the future Glowing Sea or in Boston?
@@jonunya1163they were extremely low yield by real world standards. And basically some cities like LA, New York, and DC were hit very hard. Other places were barely touched. And some places like Vegas were protected by a missile defense system. According to House, Vegas was targeted by 77 warheads only a handful made it through the middle defense system.
Thr "people" aren't immortal, and the games never sat that even ghouls are, just that they think they age really slow. The aesthetic is stuck in the 50s/60s because transistors weren't really developed, so technology was in vacuum tube's still, despite "atomic power"

Interesting . . . thanks for the info!

Can't wait for your reaction to episode 8. Until then I'll just enjoy the journey.
1, 4, and 8 are my favorites but the escalation from 2-7 on the way there is really good.
GIRL fallout AND Rick and Michonne in the back? I am loving u💜
The actor that plays Maximus (Aaron Moten) is brilliant. Him and the old fellow (Michael Cristofer) created an amazing scene.....

Great reaction and review!
they’re all original characters btw
Poor horse? 😂 It's fine I promise. The saddle is still dispersing the weight the same as if he were sitting on it.
Betty is Al in Deadpool
Ahhhh, okay. I have not seen any of the Deadpool movies, but I aim to change that! Thanks!
You had me laughing so hard...

It's a "future" as envisioned by people from the 50s.
Also.... I don't think I've ever seen a Sriracha Plushie before 😂
