- Preliminary deck profile. Format is relatively new, so the viability of this version has not been stress-tested.

24:25 On rewatching the test hand, I would have used Branded Regained to shuffle back Granguignol instead of waiting a little longer to banish something with Macabre.This will get us more value.

How essential is the 3 thrust over like, 1 thrust and 3 talents? Would Pot of prosperity work in it's place? The pricetag on thrust is brutal 😣
Prosperity does not function well in this deck as you need your extradeck at disposal most of the time. Ken has antisynergy with it too.
I would play at least 2 thrust in your case
Thoughts on condemned witch with the light barrier statue?
It doesnt work with ecclesia cause you need to keep her on board

Its fine, you can get it to leave the board often enough

Edit: is the second Albaz there so u can always send one from deck with BF, or is it cuz 2 Albaz actually comes up (like the example of searching it with Magnamhut)? I used to think the Branded engine in this deck was a 1 time thing kind of engine
I play 2 so that the 2nd branded fusion is a threat. You can summon titaniklad or incandescent albion with it

You can run her but gen/ken seem cooler
I think Dogmatika's time to shine will be once Silenforce is out with the light support. Right now I'm not impressed with their going-first strategies... I've been seeing the deck do a lot better with board-breaker strats.

Honestly i play the deck myself as pure Variant...but without cartesia and albaz

Gen & Ken (mostly Gen) are a normal summon engine that will get you card draws mainly while also allowing you to get an Extra deck monster on field quickly to extend with Ecclesia. The thing that makes them interesting over other choices (mainly Diviner of the Herald) is that they enable DOGMATIKAMATRIX to add an additional card. Then in addition, NADIR SERVANT (and Branded Fusion, Ultimate Slayer, Fusion Deployment, TTT) are all normal spells that can be added with TRIPLE TACTICS THRUST if your opponent controls a monster, which Gen/Ken gives them (and if they don't have any monster, you just set Dogmatika Punishment).
Due to the amount of high impact, hard to search normal spells this deck can run, which all have enough impact seperately to be a "must negate", TRIPLE TACTICS THRUST is very powerful already and basically only gatekept from being an auto-include 3of by other players building decks with Imperm + 9 Boardbreakers rather than traditional 12 handtrap lists.
Gen & Ken fix that dependancy of having to hope your opponent does anything, giving you random draws and setting up an opponent's board state to be in your favor.
