STAYC made a song about not judging girls based on their hobbies. The song is about a guy who judges girls for liking makeup, liking fashion, and wanting to stand out, because he has a stereotype that those girls are constantly trying to seduce men. The girl likes the guy, but she doesn't want him to think girls like herself all have an ulterior motive to seduce him, that's why she says "it may feel like I'm seducing you, if so, I'm sorry, don't look at me with your tinted glasses on". She doesn't want him to stop her from looking fancy because she's afraid he will judge her. She doubts her bold style because of the stereotype, but in the end she remembers that she knows what she looks like in her heart and she doesn't have to prove it to anyone. She doesn't want him to think that he can "hold her too tight" just because she has a bold style and captures attention of others. It's a really good message delivered in a gentle way that is easy to understand. Of course, there are many men who do this in real life, and it can become something serious. But Stayc put this song out as a small reminder, to tell young boys not to look at girls like them with tinted glasses on, and to encourage young girls to believe in themselves.

people tend to judge each other by appearance. Just because a girl looks dazzling doesn’t mean that she’s confident. It could be hard for a popular girl to step out from her comfort zone. Judging someone is compared to wearing colorful glasses hence the song’s kr title. Being pretty doesn’t necessarily fit the stereotypical image of beauty. The girl in the MV only wants to be loved for who she is despite her excessive love towards make-up and fashion uwu !

@Daniel's Life I don't know the real context but analyzing the lyrics, she's (the main character on the song) a cute shy girl that wants to live her life but she calls up people attention for being cute, specially from a guy that she likes, being shy makes she very embarassed when he is around and she doesn't want to feel like that, because is who she is and she is not playing cute for attention.

i'm still terribly impressed that "ASAP" managed to stay on the top 50 chart straight from one comeback to another. doing that as a girl group is almost impossible. doing that from outside the top3 agencies is even moreso. STAYC is for real.
Their company is really good at handling them. And they also have consistent comebacks, content, promotions and things that would make them stand out. Plus their music is so good and the members themselves are very talented and have good chemistry with each other. It is safe to conclude that STAYC will be big someday. Like trust me they will be.

BEP are really popular producers, it's an advantage honestly. Tho there's group like Brave Girls where the producers are popular but only gained attention this year. I'm glad they're promoting them well.
Doing that as a girl group is not that imposible..being a girl group is easier in digitally because Korean people are more receptive to girl group songs that are easy listening than boy groups that have to be listened to more than once, but yeah they did well from a not-so-big agency. They even can get 1st win with this song so SWITH lets continue streaming and vote😼🖑

I just miss my first listen to this song
I'm so glad and relieved that they didn't stick with the typical pattern that some groups make. ASAP had a hook that made it really popular. So i was kinda scared that their next comeback would just be sounding like an ASAP version 2. This comeback proves that they're confident in exploring music and not be satisfied in milking out the bits and pieces of a previously successful song. I haven't really entered the fandom yet but STAYC's future is just soooooo bright I can't look away. Wishing them the best ❤❤❤

the thing i like most about stayc is their unique vocal colors. they each have such different colors to their voices, which makes listening to them feel very interesting, and yet they blend so well together in every song. whoever distributes their parts also does a good job at giving them lines that suit their voices well. as a musician, I'm thoroughly impressed with these girls!

They had a whole reality show pre-debut didn’t they? They were on the TH-cam kpop series
they weren't exactly unknown. A lot of people were anticipating BEP's first gg because they produced for iconic groups like Sistar, A Pink, Twice, etc
so, I just want to point out how incredible the management for this group is being. Letting the girls have freedom with covers, spacing out comebacks to not overwork the young girls. Incetivising them to sing live instead of rolling playbacks, I know this is part of the game, but it makes the group have less of a "plastic" appearance.
I by no means want to take a dig on other groups, but a few practices that haunt the kpop industry are really bad and I'm happy to see a new company and this new group change these few "rules", the group looks way more organic, refreshing and exciting, glad I found them at their debut, props to everyone working on STAYC, the girls and the staff, this is the route kpop should go.
I’m sorry but you must be misinformed on their management. These girls have no freedom whatsoever. Highup has been very transparent with how much control they have over these girls. Their CEO and producer blackeyed pilsung said that the girls would be able to have cell phones only if they got their first win. They did get a first win this comeback but he changed his mind and said he won’t let them have phones until they get a first win on a public broadcast station. The girls are t even allowed to have cell phones, they don’t get freedom over their covers and they haven’t had a break between comebacks they’ve been busy since debut.

If Stayc doesn't win on a music show with this song then something is wrong. The song is charting very well on music charts, they sold so many albums and gained many new fans. I feel like Stayc is going to be the next hit girlgroup of this new generation. Im really curious about their future 💕
