No. This is a displacement pump which means that there is no direct connection between the inlet and the outlet. Closing the outlet would cause damage to the pump as liquids cannot be compressed. This is why in practical applications these pumps usually have a safety valve that would connect the outlet to the inlet in case of excessive pressure.

tenho uma duvida essas bombas tem um rotor e um selo k e refrigerado com agua a simples preção dessa agua e capas de romper o rotor ou danificalo
Esse tipo de bomba aspira? Gostaria de utilizar uma dessas para puxar duma espécie de cisterna..
