Akane had actually gone through the most changes from her first beta design. Her talent was the SHSL Criminal instead of SHSL Gymnast. I do think that talent should have stayed according to her backstory. She was also planned to be the antagonist of SDR2:GD. So mabye Nagito and Akane had their places switched. Mabye Nagito would have survived then?

The first Hajime’s design does fit his “rudeness”. In the original Japanese version of the game. Hajime says “Sore wa chigau zo!” Rather than “Sore wa chigau yo!” Which is a more rude version of No that’s wrong! The first design is a good representation of his sarcastic yet grounded personality but lacks his respect for Hope’s Peak and its talented individuals.

While Naegi hates Junko for all the despair she has caused for his friends, and for the world. I really like Komaeda's beta design, and I love the sprite where he's taking off his glasses and has one despair eye, it gives this unnerving sense of a calm evil, unlike his final design, though I loved how he turned out in the end as well. It seems they were going to make him more introverted and quiet, unlike like the extroverted komaeda we've all come to know and love.

Ibuki’s beta is sick, like I love it more than her actual design.
I really like Komaeda's beta design, and I love the sprite where he's taking off his glasses and has one despair eye, it gives this unnerving sense of a calm evil, unlike his final design, though I loved how he turned out in the end as well. It seems they were going to make him more introverted and quiet, unlike like the extroverted komaeda we've all come to know and love.
