If the dead head Saatchi hadn't picked him up, he'd be driving minicabs round south London. When he says he's looking for magic he means he's looking for magic in creative artist's work .. to copy.

I think all artist who paint understand the way brush and paint works ...how they choose to apply it may be their personal choice. to paint into circles drawn out by a compass is something that's not applied through years of learning or really capturing an image or a feeling. I don't feel anything when I look at it except that they look like dots. and then they are. when you look at other modern art pieces you can't help but look at them again and again and feel someone out there went through life the way you did you feel sometimes even reassured. this guy doesn't make me feel like that.

Hirst's whole career is a butter commercial.

In defence of the collector, he probably didn't suspect you were religious from your pieces, he did so because you literally called them 'and the lord god made them all'.

Quite frankly the paint chart I picked up from Wilkos' today is more inspiring!!

But Morrisey is actually talented, as opposed to just being some bloke off the dole

He is NOT a con artist - just a non-artist.

Still, butter is far more preferable to margarine.

I so so agree with all the top comments here. The guy is a prime example of the disgustingly corrupt and distorted world we live in. Salvador Dali did some beautifully distorted reality paintings maybe he was telling us something about the art world to come . But of course Dali was a real ,real ,surreal artist I don't see any talent in the guy at all apart from being a brilliant con artist. I would say there's not a genuine thought in his head.

art is ideologies neutral but 99.9 percent of those sothebys christies victims and students want before the do something be the friend of the viewer and they paint not because of the thing its becasue of their ideologies... einstein said 2 things are in endless, stupidity of the humans and the universe.. but about the second thing he wasn't sure...
