    They hated when she wore baggy clothes and covered herself up, and they hate it when she wears more revealing clothes. And im pretty sure Crowder has made videos against women wearing burkas too. He just gets triggered by other people's individual freedoms so much.

      Is all about control. Billie and any person for what i care should wear the way they want without being object to ridicule by anyone. Crowder is a political host (i'm NOT calling him a comedian. Comedians are funny), this boils down to an idiot whose masculinity is so thin and fragile that he throws dirt to a 19 year old Girl who decided to do some lingerie photos. No one was harmed, he Didn't declared something awful, was published in a respectable magazine, hell i saw the photos and are not Even sugestive, in My opinion are actually pretty classy. Implicit in that perspective is strong men are those who can control their impulses and do seek to build genuine connections with women. Clearly Crowder was just too overwhelmed with hysteria and emotion in this reaction to really comprehend Miss Eilish’s thoughts on the matter. • @Pohlmaster
      @Pohlmaster 3 ปีที่แล้ว +326

      @@donventura2116 eh. No. The goal of feminism is, that every gender can have the same opportunities. So that a Woman can make money and a man can stay home, or both work half-time - and of course that a man can make money and a woman can stay home, there shouldn’t be unnecessary boundaries from society.
      This necessary freedom of choice includes LGTBQIA+ Community.
      I’m a women and in my relationship with a man, his wish is to be a stay at home dad or work halftime and my wish is to work full time. So no, you are wrong, you can not say „women do not want stay at home husbands“, it is different in every relationship.
      And it is also not correct to say „every man want a wife, who stays home to do housework and raise the kids“, it is different for every couple.
      Unfortunately, in our society, we don’t have choice uninfluenced by our gender, so more man have jobs where they earn more money than a women, that’s why many couples have to decide, that the woman stays home and the man works fulltime, because they have no other choice.
      There are many studies out there showing, why women have less chances and it comes down to the patriarchy. Feminism tries to change that. Patriarchy is bad for men and women.

      @@donventura2116 well what you're talking about has more to do with your perception of women than feminist theory. it's not really about what individual women want. this is the problem with talking about feminism on the internet. men hear feminism and automatically substitute it with all women. feminism is an academic and political movement that aims to create equality of options and self actualization between both sexes. individual women might feel however they want to feel about men working at home (I think you're wrong btw, just speaking as a woman) but the movement is meant to create a world where gender doesn't determine what kind of life you're able to live.

      @@donventura2116 I didn’t really say feminism isn’t concerned with relationships, I said the goals of feminism aren’t determined by what individual women or even a majority of woman want their specific relationships to look like. relationships are definitely important to feminism but also every relationship is unique. Feminism is concerned with making it possible for each couple to have the freedom to make the choice that’s best for each relationship. If some women want men who provide financially, then that’s what works for them. Feminism is trying to make peoples lives less about what society thinks your relationship should look like and more about what the each specific couple thinks their relationship should look like.

I don't know if you just didn't read the article or what, but her comment was referring to men who sexually assault and harass women, it wasn't an overarching comment about men's overall weakness. I spend most of my home time in my PJs (since I currently live alone) and most of the time I don't even wear pajama pants. So yeah, I definitely do not dress in public like I do in my own home. Also, most people also don't dress like they do going to church/court/certain formal workspaces, etc. like they do at home, so I don't know what his point is. Even though I disagree with Steven’s take, I can abstract his reasoning, that primitive humanistic biological urges are amplified during certain empirical processes. Men are physiologically more inclined to have aggressive hormonal tendencies on display , especially regarding these motives, but of course these men are outliers, based on their own interpretations, and discipline, will; to combat against such behavior. it’s even worst if the individual wasn’t conditioned to such ethical and moral instituted practices, based on his environmental growth.

      It's because Eilish dared to question or challenge male heterosexuality, a no-no in authoritarian culture. So Crowder, interpretating this as an attack of sorts as authoritarians do, then responds to this with a fight or flight response, so he has to attack Eilish (despite it betraying his feeling of being threatened) and at the same time try to run from her logic to justify the status quo (ie flight).
      So he has to frame men's sexuality as a source of strength, and women's sexuality as a source of weakness and inferiority.

It’s not that I’m weak, it’s in my nature” cuz to him masculinity is about not being weak or vulnerable or open in any way. I rolled my eyes so hard at the fact that he cares more about his own ego that the victims of SA and the fact that men who SA someone are stupid!!!!! ...unless he sees them as normals... normal male behavior is disrespecting a woman that wants to be free and be whoever she wants to be!!!!!
      U see a guy walking out without his shirt on {nipples exposed} and no one gives a fuck!!!!! No one is gonna tell him to cover himself up or they won’t be respected!!!!! If a guy is sweaty after playing a soccer, they can take off their shirt and no one is claiming that their disrespect and sex drive is on full blast autopilot NOBODY WILL SAY ANYTHING because we’re used to it.
