Talented atheletes must represent clients who can afford to pay them and keep them operating at the optimal level period through providing them with adequate facilities and other support items. Period. In Kenya in particular where priorities are all over, don't bother being patriotic, be business minded. Being in active sport has one of the shortest life cycles. Get paid and supported by whoever can afford. Even immigrate there if you must.
they could be monetized , through some sort of global and national registration and clubs to be a source of income for country when another country acquires a Kenyan athlete, one-off and regular payments to Kenya
