This is one of my favourites. Tobitt is a master creator/writer. A genius. King Short Shirt is the messenger. One of Antigua's top calypsonians. Both men are celebrated and icons of the island.

THERE ARE SIX SONGS ON THIS ALBUM. TINY AND RUTH AND MAMA LOU (SHORT SHIRT MOTHER AND SISTERS) ASKED ME TO DO THE ALBUM BECAUSE THEY DID NOT LIKE THE SONGS HE HAD FOR HIS ANINVERSARY ALBUM. I WROTE 3 SONGS( HARA KIRI, J'OUVERT RHYTHM, AND COME) AND CHOSE 3 FROM WHAT HE HAD. I WENT TO NEW YORK AND PRODUCED THE ALBUM AND GAVE IT TO HIM.

The Title is "Harikari". I wrote and produced this album - they don't even know the name of the song.

This song came from “King Short Shirt’s 25th Anniversary” Album, released in 1987, on the WB Record Label. The musical arrangements were done by St. Vincent’s, Frankie “Maestro” McIntosh.

TO MY KNOWLEDGE, SHORT SHIRT HAS NEVER WRITTEN A SONG.
