This lacks realism for multiple reasons. Taylor would have seen a reproductive endocrinologist for egg implementation. Her ob/gyn during her pregnancy would have been a perinatologist. I believe Bridgitte is an internest and as such she would not have been involved in any of Taylor's pregnancy, including ore and post. SCID is a rare genetic disorder, so Rick, Bridgette, Katie, Donna and RJ should all have been tested. Screening for SCID for all newborns in California started in 2010 and I guess if Ridge's DNA markers can be changed science really doesn't matter.
The music, Nick's expression...oh yes, inside Nick has always wanted this child to be Brooke's baby. He will now have the very best of Brooke in his life with or without her.
Why is Brooke acting like she doesn't understand medical terminology? She went to college and got a degree in like.... biochemistry. And she worked in hospital labs, and then the Forrester labs. But she has to be explained what SCIDs is?
She went to college for chemistry, yes she worked in the lab but as a chemist, she is not going to be conversant with genetic diseases, she didn't go to medical school.
