I am so with you on being over summer. Bring the cold...please. (I'm afraid we still have a couple of weeks of actual 100F weather left here in north-central Oregon.) 🧶And yes, the Barbie movie was really fun! I wanted to leave a note that for many of us, 32" needles are NOT large enough for a whole sweater circumference and are therefore not the most versatile length possible. I'm not quite a plus sized person and I find 40" needles better for versatility, but there are many knitters who require more than that for their sweaters. I actually prefer 40" needles for TAAT sock knitting as 32" can get to feeling too cramped at the turns even for my 56 stitch socks, but that's me. Regardless, yay for new needles and I'm glad you have them!
Good point! You are so right. I’m the type of knitter that crams my stitches onto my needles too, I should have known. Also, for shawl colors a 60” is absolutely required and preferred. I’m going to pin your comment with the hopes that your point here is better visible to listeners. Thank you for sharing!
You are so casual about such intricate projects .. I would gift the fawn colored sweater..all that work, I would never want to frog it. Lol. But I do much simpler knits. 🧶💫 which take me forever to finish. 🤷🏻♀️😌 I agree, regarding the heat and mugginess. I am over it too. Looking forward to autumn and cooler temps. 🍁🌾🌬❄️
Agree! I frogged a shawl. I just wasn't feeling it, and yarn was fighting it. I was almost finished with it but knew I wouldn't wear it. Now it can be something else and my wip lineup is less.❤
🧶... can we talk about that toadstool? Wow ... I did not think it was real at first. Your bubble cardigan is beyond epic! I am so excited for you. I am also over this ridiculous heat ... dog days begone!!! Wishing you a lovely week!!
I am so glad you are back. I missed your videos but I know life comes first. I think I have made 1 video for work in the past few months. Too busy editting knitting books
🧶 Loved your update on all the knits. You make me laugh so hard! This time of year I feel like I have no extra energy for my wips. But as the weather gets colder, the mojo comes back... I wish the same for you. I had to stop and rewind the video and stop on the picture in order to find the pumpkin hiding behind the candle. That was fun.
🧶🧶🧶Hello Taylor! Good to “see” you this morning! I just finished a sweater for a neighbor, and a sweater for myself. Now I’m trying to make some progress on my king sized crochet coverlet blanket. All the squares are done, it’s just a slog sewing them all together……….argh Hugs, ClaudiaSJI
🧶 oh my gosh, you recorded on B’more’s hottest day thus far?? You are a rockstar! I went out and sweltered in my garden like an idiot, but the storms almost toppled my trellis, and the next one surely would have brought it crashing down.
I have followed you on instagram for ages, but somehow I didn't realise you had a podcast! I'm gearing up to frog a whole cardigan. I don't like it, the pattern was a disaster, and by the time I finished knitting it, it didn't fit me. The pattern was so bad, I hated the whole process of knitting it, and the vibes kind of stuck. The shoulders probably wouldn't have fit properly even if I hadn't gained weight. It's nice yarn, that I bought on a special occasion, and it deserves to become something I'll actually wear!

Thank you so much!
🧶 well done on your decision to frog your sweater. Not sure I would have the patience.
I’m not sure yet that I have the patience either. Talk is cheap!! 🤭
