JUST GOT MY XPED 2.0 TODAY!! Already put almost 10 miles on it and if you get one, know that the front wheel isn't attached and there is a plastic cap inside the brake caliper you need to pull a pin out to remove it, it is everything I wanted and more.
When I was looking for a cargo bike, it was between the Xpedition, and Aventon Abound. At the time, what sold me on the Abound, was the front suspension, and the torque sensor. If this version of the Xpedition was around then, I would have chosen it instead.
They should make an Xpedition 2.0 "Premium" or "Plus" or something and add that pinion system and such...along with some of the other features they have added on their other new bikes...like indicators and brake lights comes to mind... Glad that it comes with a front fork though...great add for sure Looking forward to the full testing and review
Thanks for sharing! It does have brake light and turn signals on this one in case we forgot to mention it! Interesting ade on a premium model. We would love to see more pinion tech integrated into bikes.
@ElectricBikeReport I probably missed it - great that it has turn signals. Looking forward to whether the kickstand issue (it getting loosened up over time) has been addressed too! I can't lie - I am really excited by this update they did. It addresses a lot of my issues with the OG Xpedition. If the review is as great as this initial showcase, then I am running out reasons to not get this bike... I would really appreciate a head to head between this long range version,the Specialized GHLT, and the RadWagon 5
@@ElectricBikeReport one more query to address when you do a full review - can you speak to towing ability and it's impact on payload. My use case has the need for kids + things and a trailer for the things or kids would be very handy. I currently do this with my acoustic setup but being able to do it with an ECB would be absolutely great! RadPower speaks to towing a lot for their products but Lectric barely mentions it in their marketing so it feels like it's not something they recommend/encourage...
Really loving this bike. I've been thinking I wanna get a cargo bike when I move into a city from the suburbs. I was gonna keep my Ride1Up LMT'D because I love the feel of a torque sensor. But, now that there's an affordable option for a cargo bike with a torque sensor, I might even sell my LMT'D and juts ride this. This could be my do-everything bike.
@ yes, but for me the 2.5/20” works just like my old bmx bike did as a kid. Only now I’m 60 and tearing it up. Don’t know how long the folding neck adjustment will last but worth it to find out.

Still do not have the X Peak high step.... what are you doing? A hot seller should have higher production. You're losing customers that want THAT type of bike. And there's ALOT of us.

Torque sensors and suspenion are definitely nice upgrades!

Narrower tires have some nice advantages for sure. Were you on something wider before?

Any thoughts on how this compares with the more costly Radwagon 5 or Flyer Via Pro?
We will have to get a test model in for a comprehensive breakdown. It's got a very intriguing value proposition compared for now though.
