When I first heard of her songs I fell in love with her, with her angelic voice, with her great ability to create music-songs. Now, after 6 years I still in love with her but I read the lyrics again and again and I'm wondering. Why this woman isn't a poet?

They cut a line. "Oh but you, with your fearless love, you're better than any drug I ever had" I guess someone was afraid of being accused of promoting drugs, but the "fearless love" is one of the things that makes this song for me. If it were just not another teenage love song it wouldn't be a big deal but if you listen to it as a song about coming out and the transformative nature of that first love, it's very powerful. Guess whoever cut that line wouldn't approve of that either :-)
