Also, the reason why Adams joined the Raiders in the first place was to PLAY with Carr. Don't forget that they were college teammates at Fresno State and had been best friends ever since. The Packers offered Adams MORE MONEY to stay, but Adams chose "Friendship Over Fortune".

In reality if Davante wants out and the Jets offer a good trade package, this is VERY possible. I never thought Aaron would leave GB let alone Adams and they’re both out. Never say never in this league.
As a Raiders fan, I can see it happening if the Raiders are dysfunctional before the trade deadline. I obviously want Coach AP to succeed, but I'm trying not to get overly optimistic like I always do before Week 1 lol. Tbh, im just glad Mcdaniels is gone, he made the Raiders unwatchable even for hardcore Raiders fans.

@Jeremycook_ I was born into Raider Nation, like most, I would think haha. I've seen the dysfunction for decades now. It is what it is, but they're still my team for life lol. AP had the team moving in the right direction by the end of the season, which gives me a glimmer of hope. We will see how it plays out. But as a fan of any team, you usually hold out some sort of hope regardless.

I doubt this would happen and have no skin in it since I’m not a fan of either team, but on that new Receiver show on Netflix there was an exchange between Davante and Aaron that made me rewind and listen again. It was after a game where they had went out to dinner the night before and right before going back to the locker rooms Davante said something to the effect of “we’ll talk more about it and make it happen”. Obv that could have been about anything but the vibe I got was they were trying to find a way to pair up again.
