Northern loop 4, route 1149

Route 1149 starts north on Chiang Rai at Mae Rai town and heads west to the burmese boarder up to the picturesque town of Pha Mi, this village is high in the mountains and then you ride down to the flat plains heading towards the northern point of Thailand. There is days of exploring to be done in this western part the roads are great and your off the tourist track.
