Sea of Thieves is a pirate-themed action-adventure cooperative multiplayer game played from a first-person perspective. The game features cross-platform play between Windows-based personal computers and Xbox One video game consoles. A group of players travel and explore an open world via a pirate ship and assume different roles such as steering, hoisting sails, navigation, and firing cannons. Players embark on quests, collect loot and engage in combat with other players. Sea of Thieves is a shared game world, which means groups of players will encounter each other regularly throughout their adventures.

when you roll up on someone like that, you need to get chainshots on them as the very first things you shoot, it will help if a crewmate goes over there and distracts them also, when the crews look like that, it's very easy to have just one person killing them and the other shooting bottems

Hey welyn just a tip, when you shoot at a ship with the cannons you want to spread your shots out instead of focusing them because it makes more holes, if you shoot the same spot it doesn’t make any more holes
I don’t know if you knew this already just wanted to let you know because in your fight against the brig you were shooting the same spot a few times

That first fight reminded me of a confrontation I had a bit ago (sadly I did not record it)
I was in a galleon with three other friends. We ended up reaching tier 5 emissary. Which of course was the best time to stop keeping watch, when a tier 5 reaper flag sloop with legendary pirates aboard came around the island. We rushed back to the ship and set off when a skeleton galleon appeared and dropped our anchor like 10 times in a row. We then got boarded and nearly died till the skeleton ship started shooting the sloop. Just enough time to repair the ship and start running. But the sloop was in hot pursuit. That was when an idea was formed. We switched into a couple roles. I steered the ship and kept the sails pointing to the wind for maximum speed. And everyone else jumped off the ship and tried to harass the sloop when they weren’t helping on the ship. We aimed toward an outpost when we regained our bearings. We then proceeded to sail toward every outpost while having two people jump off the ship with loot during a drive by of the outpost to slowly sell off the loot. We kept one person on harassment. This kept up for 2 hours till we came across a random ship in a port. The two loot haulers boarded that ship with no one in it and started sailing that ship toward the sloop. They scared it into some rocks and it sank leaving us to sell the rest of the loot at the next outpost.
It was an exhilarating experience. Makes me really consider streaming/making videos of my games.

If you even decide to read this message-- If you are fully turning to the right or left AND you're at a reasonable speed, you can drop the anchor and it will make your ship make a sharp left or right, I usually used this as a way to avoid anything that may damage the ship. You can also you this as a way to make a faster way to reorient your ship to make it more suitable to shoot or bombard the enemy. I'm not the most sophisticated player in SOT or any PVP/adventure game for that matter, so take this as you will. Also, I love your videos and you're my favorite TH-camr.
