Dang man, Im havin a fit with my hot tub ! HELP! What else is there to check.
Its been a good spa, but Im battling the dreaded FLO code
I have great water pressure, 2 pumps running smooth, the recirculating pump running good.
I cycled the diverter several times, Opened bleeder valves on both pumps, Cracked open the unions,
Replaced the clear flow directional switch. pulled the 2 filters and made sure they were clean,
Pulled disconnect a few times to re boot the system.
The water is getting a lil warm when I run the pumps but even the recirculating pump shuts off after a little wile.
Still have the FLO code on the 6 button display. Got any hacks or other ideas ? I wanna get it fixed before it starts freezing up.
Thanks for all your videos. You know your stuff. Oh I even took a water pump I have with a 2 inch discharge hose and tried pushing water threw the filter inlets to clear out any possible air. Im stumped. Hope you have a new idea..
2006 Artesian Capris 7 person 52 jet Dual 6hp pump, dual 50sq filters, Ozone with trombone type heater.
    Thanks a million. Bob-Fixumm

I’m sorry for the late reply.
So if you remove the filters do you still have the issue? How is the water level? What model if your tub?

I have the Tropic seas spas made by Artesian but 2 of the 3 pumps are made in China.

Hi there! Sorry for the late reply! Are they the LX pumps? If so, I know as Americans we don’t like “made in China” but these pumps are honestly good pumps. We’ve had less issues with them than any others. The tub itself is made in Las Vegas NV. And I love the Tropic Seas line. Great Tub and valué!

Hey there Joel. My name is Taylor, the guy in the video. While I welcome your comment and appreciate the view, I can assure you I was not high. In fact I don’t smoke weed or do any drugs.
If my eyes move, or are red, it could be due to several factors. First of which, I have a nystagmus, an involuntary movement of my eyes. I’ve had it since birth. To help combat that, I have had eye surgery, and PRK, which makes my eyes more prone to dryness, and therefore, redness.
That does not, however, impede my ability to help folks with hot tubs.
Thanks again for your post, but kindly, I’d ask that you reserve judgement on things you’re not sure on.

Not a good start checking on Artesian spa with the last 2 you tube videos? Makes you want to get a smaller 11o volt spa and then THOROUGHLY check if it takes weeks, months, (heavan's sake) not any longer than that before a person finally pulls the trigger.

These hot tubs have a control board that makes these tubs a piece of crap. We had this tub for six weeks and noticed the pumps go on and off as well as the lights whenever they want to. I bought this tub from a dealers in St, Louis. The service department gets an A+ for trying to service a D+ hot tub. They explained this is the number one complaint they get from all their customers and there is no solution. My wife and I can sit in our tub and watch the controls go on and off because when a drop of water falls on the controls, the controls thinks it’s you. If we hadn’t just spent $14000.00 on this crap, we would almost think this is funny. Also, I explained to service that sometimes the controls will not allow me to turn pumps or lights off. Service said the controls don’t like wet hands. All I can do at this point is warn everybody about this piece of crap. P.S. I’ve had hot tubs since 1985.

      Hey Gary!
So we see hot tubs every day and let me assure you, while annoying, this isn’t a huge issue. And it impacts many manufacturers, and doesn’t make this specific brand a “piece of crap”.
But yes, it’s an issue. It’s the topside made by Balboa who, on the SpaTouch panel specifically had an issue. Talk to your dealer about changing the topside to a different model SpaTouch. One model had an issue with water sensitivity which doesn’t work well with spas. But with a different topside, works great. This issue affected many brands that use balboa components (the widest used electronics in the hot tub industry).
Also, expect your pumps to all run on a cycle before the filter cycle every day. This is normal to cycle the water.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more info! Happy to help!

@@mohavemistandspa1895 thanks for your feedback. I’ll show this to the service department who said this is their number one complaint and couldn’t help me..

I have the Grand Bahamas 64 in 3 years. I've had nothing but problems with it, one of the worst hot tubs you can buy on the market, my opinion the motor that recirculates the water stopped working one of my diverter valve stopped working and the instrument panel screen has gone blurry needs to replace over a $500 part the worst part is I am the second owner the original owner purchased the extended warranty all of this would have been covered but the warranty is non-transferable with Artesian Spas I hope this information helps someone
