To have discipline, you must have mental strength. And the Ravens don't have it. They choked when it mattered the most.
You can tell you are only watching the highlights becuse the ravens got outplayed out coached and out bullied in this game and the cheifs did all that and kept there composure. This game wasnt even close the refs called some bs holding call on the td and missed the trip in the endzone that should have been a safety that ended up being the feild goal for the ravens on that drive

Thank you for the biggest laugh I've had all day today. "I like that. I like that...." "Taunting!" And you don't realize that that play right there and the one coming in a few seconds is what really ends any chance the Ravens had in this game.

While I agree with almost every take you had, the Chiefs changed their play calling after they went up 2 scores and felt like their defense could throttle the Ravens offense. If they needed to kick it into high gear on offense they could have as it showed on the play to ice the game.

I’m a life long CHIEFS fan!!! I respect and appreciate the Ravens. However they became rattled, mainly the coaching staff. The in turn, the team became rattled. The ENERGY was too big for the entire team. This time around
All those things you described at the end, is exactly why the Ravens are NOT a better team than KC.
Interception, strip sack, Sneed getting the punch out fumble? I guess that was Baltimore too. Yes the Ravens were undisciplined, but credit where its due, held to 7 1st qtr, 2nd - 0, 3rd - 0, 4th - 3. The hell they weren't outplayed. You are giving the score more credit than it merits. There was little time KC wasn't in control. After I saw how it was going. I wasn't even slightly worried.
That does not mean Baltimore is not an Excellent team. Combination of the Chiefs being on their game and disciplined, and perhaps the moment too big for Lamar? He wasn't holding the ball because he wanted to, the receivers were covered like plaster most of the game, that's not on him.Abandoning the running game was also a mistake ImHO.
The highlights make the game look closer than it was if you watched the full game. Both defenses looked great but the Chiefs D really threw off the Ravens game plan, what ever that was.

This came up in my feed. As I started watching I felt bad for what was going to happen.
You gotta give credit to the KC defense dude. All those "mistakes" were FORCED by the pressure that the D was putting on them. And that fumbled was FORCED. You gotta give that credit to Sneed, who caused it to happen. It's not like it was a fumble that he just juggled randomly. That shit was PUNCHED OUT. Yes, the Ravens made some unforced errors, but that Chiefs D put the HAMMER DOWN on the Ravens, dude.

Tough game man. Mistakes definitely cost them. But there's no shame losing to KC. And it was both...Ravens mistakes and KC D did a lot to help too. Also teams obviously have a tendency to play a little erratic when they face KC...but at same time Andy and Spags have become masters at forcing teams out of playing like themselves. Vs BUF they straight took their pass game away and let them run. Vs BAL they came out strong and got ahead...thus forcing many coaches to abandon their game plan. Great defensive game all around. Mahomes did his thing but they were able to hold em off 2nd half. You guys be in the mix every year, no worries.

You could see the discipline fall apart in the second half for the Ravens. Just a note, Zay got frustrated and cut his hand slamming it on the bench after the fumble. Young guy is going to be good, but just has some growing to do.

Ok i have to admit at first I was annoyed by your over confidence, but then I had to take a step back and realize that you are just a huge fan of your team. I respect how much you love your team and wanted them to win. They had an amazing season and it’s so very difficult to lose at home at that kind of season. But all things being equal, both D’s were extremely close in level of play. Special teams just as equal. Your offense had a better season statistically, but let’s be honest, Mahomes is in another league than Jackson. That’s not to say Lamar isn’t great, because he is. He is just not Mahomes. Mahomes in crunch time steps it up to an even higher level. Whereas Lamar has consistently played avg to poor. The Chiefs were the better team today. With all that said, great video.

I’m sure that hurt the Ravens fans, including the video host. I can respect your fandom and concur with most of your commentary. However, I have to say that when a “team beats themselves”, the other team had something to do with that. Even the boneheaded fouls and the misguided hero moves by Flowers reaching and Jackson throwing into triple coverage. Pressure applied makes for such bad decisions. There was a tinge of misplaced motivation apparent from the Ravens side, starting even with the kicker’s pregame antics. That has to be partly coaching staff attitude and partly players not respecting the opponent enough to play cleanly. KC staff had their team prepared physically, mentally, and schematically better than Baltimore’s did.

I’ve had to tell a few people this but the reason a pass interference wasn’t called on likely is because Lamar threw an un catchable ball out of bounds. If you watch where it lands he clearly wasn’t making a play to Likely, he was just trying to throw it away.

There are several reasons why the Ravens are not able to win the big ones.
The Ravens are an undiciplined team (needless penalties), they have a quarterback who makes poor decisions at critical times (sacks and untimely passes), Jackson seems to always be looking for the “big” play instead of taking what the defense gives him, and they have a head coach who has trouble playing against better coaches. One thing that would really help is if they would move Jackson to a wide receiver position and bring in a quarterback with a little more experience in playing in the big games. This might allow them to move to the next level.
While the Chiefs didn't play their best, they did win. The definition of a really good team: Even when they play poorly, they still figure out a way to win the important ones.
By the way, Lamar and Patrick have been in the league the same number of years. Lamar's playoff record is now 2-4. After another Super Bowl win, Patrick's playoff record is 15-3. I think that's case closed on who the real MVP is.
I hope the Ravens have a good season again next year. But if they don’t make some serious personnel moves, they will find themselves in the exact same predicament.
