now I'm not great at math but by my calculations that is pulling in roughly $6 a month. That doesn't seem like a good investment... not trying to be negative and maybe I'm just bad at math...
At the mercy of my ISP as well when it comes to running nodes. I have Xfinity and I barely pass Cumulous benchmarks at 26mb upload. Just launched my Nimbus today so I had to use a VPS. Hostnodes was easy to setup
Mine stopped working a couple of months ago it says flux node is not confirmed. Is there an update for flixOS? How do you set it up again? Or can i just withdraw my 1000 flux back to normal zelcore wallet?
Make sure you are using upnp. There was a flux update that disallowed port forwarding. Otherwise restart your node in zelcore. You can withdraw the 1000 flux at any time.
@@RedFoxCrypto thanks sir i restarted and checked upnp is enabled. My other nodes like etcmc are doing fine. It just this sensecap m4 that does not work saying it expired. It says fluxos version expired on the sensecap app. How do you update the flix os
Great video Mike! Love to see Red Fox videos! I have upload speeds of up to 30 Mb but when I test it it always says I have around 22 so I am hesitant to buy the sensecap node. Although I want to really bad as it is an easy way to run a node at home. With my speeds having the capability to go to 30 will the sensecap run fine or do I need to figure out why I test at around 22 first?
During a horrible bear market yes. Remember Flux has been at 3 dollars, 33 cents, at all time high ofcourse. Keep building in bear to enjoy the ftuits of that labour in the next bull run next year.
Redfox said this node type earns about 11 Flux per month. That's about $6 per *month* at the current Flux price. So, spend $299 for the node to make $6 per month :-). Seems totally worth it 🙂
Yes but you have to claim them your self and pay the fees based on each chain they very from 1-6 flux per PA. If you dont see them in zelcore then you probably dont have enough to cover the fees.
Hello
Practical training on a server and SSD with the ability to read and do several modes at the same time. I was interested in this.
Thank You
Interesting product. I built my own using a HP Prodesk 600 mini….
How often are you having to perform maintenance on the node? Any headaches?

Nope just near sighted. Nothing to blame we still appreciate you.
You are right... this is more for supporters. He would be better off buying 11flux a month with the money used to upgrade his internet.

Great timing just threw together 5 6600s, ready to turn on. Just bored/unfun not mining at home
Is it worth it to get one? Is it more spec or is it somewhat profitable

If it tests at 22 it will fail the benchmarks
@@Robertevo thank you! Any suggestions on how to improve? I had ports open for helium mining which I am no longer doing. Should I close those?
@@leolustig8994 you would have to contact your service provider and see why you are not getting the speeds you are paying for
@@Robertevo ok thank you so much for your help!!
What's the ROI for a Cumulus node?
I got 1000/1000 :) So i can run all nodes at home
If one lived with dial up, all internet speeds today are amazing.

So spends about $1000 and make $7 per day?
@crypto8446 how about you text Dez Nuts?
@@Mad_Catter_ I did a few calculations off of their website and it came out to a roi of 6.5 years

What's the profitability like?
Do you receive parallel assets running a node?

Good to see you buddy.
