- A French translator named Dubec tells Holmes he was kidnapped and forced at gunpoint to translate a Frenchman being tortured. The parties were trying to get the man to sign some papers but he was refusing. Worse, Dubec doesn't know where.

These were always on a Sunday when I was a kid but I don't know this one either!
Only 10 minutes in. But so far, the plot matches the original story "The Adventure of the Greek Interpreter". I wonder why they changed the language?
The one villain collapses into unconsciousness after a fall of about 8 feet, after cushioning the impact with extended arms. It really isn't very difficult to foil the plans of men who are literally limp-wristed pansies.🤣🤣
