Thank you so much for your wonderful reaction on Chris Kläfford! Sweden, Sweden, Sweden, what talents you create! Yes, Sweden has talents! What is it with this little country in the North? One of the answers: one of their treasures is / has been that they have a natural aptitude for folkmusic, singing, and for music in general. It is deep down in their genes. See for example "allsång på Skansen", Stockholm, where the Swedish people meet and sing together once a week in the summertime. And their people's soul goes very, very deep. Some of the first talents were Jenny Lind, opera singer, often called the "Swedish Nightingale", active until 1887, Birgit Nilsson, soprano, active from 1946-1984 and Jussi Björling, tenor, active until 1960, and ABBA in the 1970-1980. And then all the newest
Chris won the Swedish Idol 2017! He made Imagin on AGT and amazing covers of Take me to church, wicked games, resolution, hotline bling and more in the Swedish Idol. And he has a lot of catching session wat official's even.
Chris Kläfford is a great example of how self-improvement can take you far. Chris Kläfford did win the Swedish version of American Idol a few years before introducing himself to the American audience in America's Got Talent but that was only on his fifth try where he finally found his style that he could excel at (The other four times, he didn't reach the top 12). If you want more of his Kitchen Sessions, I would recommend his slower cover of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper. This cover did he do together with Hanna Ferm who came 2nd place the same year that Chris won the Swedish Idol and it's a good one.
Isn't he special? The way he tells a story with that outstanding voice of his when he's singing! And he's such a gifted guitar player as well! So happy to have met him in person and watched him perform live! And he's a great song writer as well. Please check out some of his originals! I'd say a good start is "Cold at the Altar". Have fun! :)
I told you my friend, he is amazing! Try out Cold at the Altar. It's his own song and he wrote it after the burial of his beloved grandma on which he sang Hallelujah because of a promise to her. Other good songs are; Take me to church What happened to us Sober
Great reaction. He is one of my three Spotify favourites: John Farnham and Bee Gees being the other 2. You should listen to Kláffords If not with you then for you, and Ocean Eyes. Soulfully smooth
i believe you would have to check out his channel, there are too many songs to mention because they are all well done. Chris' range, tonality, and the control of his vocals are incredible. whether they are covers or his original songs, you will be impressed. enjoy your time with Chris' music.
