That lighthouse station looked a bit like a church 🙂Stunning coastal area to walk though and I would love to visit the ancient market town of Marazion and St Michael's Mount . LOL I have blisters just watching, Ok it might have been the walking at the weekend when I also got bitten by midges. Free car parking in Cornwall in season, I think I am going to have to write to the council.
that's different a train wash, sorry to say the only time trains get washed here is if it rains, your right that was the flattest part of the hike so far, cool little town to walk through and did you go all the way to St Michael's Mount ?
Oddly flat walks or runs hurt way more than hilly or rolling efforts. Straight lines make it worse. You can alter your pace but flat kills. Repetitive use of the same muscles with hardly any alteration. Bicycles were invented for these hikes. Great job. Oh blisters are a sign of I’ll fitting socks and shoes 👠

Where I live any walk will be flatter than flat ;) Doesn't make it less interesting though!
I've seen a train wash before - there's one not far from Cardiff Central on the City line.
I do love the sea. I do. But I prefer the silence of the mountain forests or high deserts.
