A trillion love stories made, and I simply can't think of one right now that is better than this one. Storyline ok, but it was truly the essence of the actors. Well done.
I absolutely agree with you on this but a very close second is “Just like Heaven” with Reece Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo. A lovely comedy with a truly romantic slow burn and incredible ending. Very well written book adapted for the screen with no loose ends and with a great cast.
This movie has a special place in my memories. Louisa was played so beautifully by emilia. Such a wonderful movie and caste I will always love this movie. ❤️❤️❤️😘

This movie and the songs make me cry so bad. I lost my husband one year ago to ALS and the last 9 months of it he was completely paralyzed so it really hits home with me. I dont think I eill ever not cry when I hear this. The voice overs are perfect😢💔

I lost my husband 3 yr ago. His kidneys failed and he was on dialysis for 7 yrs., most of which I was his caregiver..
he got to where he was bedridden the last 2 yrs and it was hard to watch him die a little more each day. If he was well, then I would pray for his return. But he wasn't , he was very sick and ready to leave this world. He worried about me, about how I would go on after he died. Until I had to tell him that I would be alright. that he could let go.But I lied. 3 yrs ago and I still grieve for him. I love him and miss him so much.

the author made the mistake of writing 2 more books about louisa..she should have left it be..this is a lovely and sad book..there is discussion about it on line some saying he did not love her..yes he did its a love story sad true.he did not want to suffer anymore even if he did love her...when you love some one and your not going to live that long because you keep getting sick and will never get better then you do not want to be a burden to those who love you...he needed to be at peace and she needed to understand it..as did the mother..
