Sidenote: if you bought this figure and the right arm is loose, you've most likely bought the 1st batch that was released last year. This is very common for most MB Type X. I got the 2nd batch, which was released earlier this month, and the right arm joint is pretty solid. I'm not sure if it's the same for those who got the 2nd batch, or I'm just that lucky. Either way, something to keep in mind.
@@Sams1802 not from the box, but on the figure itself there should be a brand marking with 4 dots next to it. Tamashii Nation products usually has this brand marking with 4 dots on it. If it has 3 dots instead, that's a 2nd release. The dot decreases by each re-release. Once the dots are gone, there won't be any re-release. If it's not on the figures, try checking the accessories.
also remember that the Astrea is a 2nd generation Gundam, despite its older age it still kicks ass, granted the O Gundam who is a 1st gen Gundam still somehow manages to fight the Exia who is a 3rd gen near the ending of Gundam 00 season 2.
Realistically not much has changed between 1st-3rd gen of 00 suits. The biggest difference is that they hadn't yed mastered atmospheric flight on the 0-gundam, hence the massive wings of light you see in the opening, but the armor was e-carbon, the weapons were powered by the same gn particles, so I doubt output was much different. The only thing I can think of is - I don't think the 0-gundam had the gn cables that allowed for a higher amount of mobility, and the exia had oodles of em'. I'd compare it to something like an f-16 dogfighting an f-35.

This figure is gorgeous and I love all the features. But to me, half the fun is building the mobile suit. And that’s why I’ve pretty much passed on this entire line.
After watching this, it pretty much confirms that it has all the accessories of the Astraea type F with some nice extras and a great paint scheme. Can’t wait to get mine! Honestly if you loved this, give one of the Crossbone metal builds a try. I’ve got them all and they are amazing, with plenty of accessory options!
Finsternis is Darkness in German. Love it when Gundam slaps german words on Gundams, Weapons and Characters. My favorites being Schwert-Gewehr and Schwarz Bruder which are Sword-Rifle and Black Brother translated into english
I think you should have commented on the holding hands. All the hands are made of this soft plastic and aren't posable, for most part its fine as weapons can just slide in except the bazooka. The bazooka handle is D shaped so to put it into hands you have to bend the thumb out, with it being a single digit and soft plastic I always worry that I'd accidentally snap the thumb so I always leave the bazooka out which is a shame.
Have you not built the DABAN red version kit of this? Comes with even more stuff, 8 shields, spiked mace, giant 'Avalanche' like swords that can be used as wings, all the shields expand like feathers, 6 guns, 2 Exia wrist swords, the same type of stand etc.. Somehow I got him in a cool pose with everything on him! But he is a kit not a Metal Build so a hell of a lot cheaper. These colours on yours are gorgeous though!!
This type X is really beautiful. Mine has the type F avalung option set which came out nice. Black and type F color combination. My Dynames R3 has all of it's weapons except for the GN launcher and blades.
I would love to pilot that as a infinite stratos so yeah if you don’t know what I’m talking about I really recommend that anime/manga series of the same name.
if I recall that second head is based on a sort of mask unit that the original Astraea Type F had which was meant to disguise it as a gundam, not sure why they didnt just make it not look like a gundam at all but oh well

I bought a bootleg from a street seller called ukay ukay in the philipines who sell old and used toys. My exia was like a bootleg i think because the leg was broken the other one was gone and the body is half only and the other arm is missing.
As a peasant gunpla fan i will never be able to afford Metal Build. Probably gonna by the bootleg 1/100 Astrea Type F and paint it to this color scheme.

Hello what other backpacks will fit onto this figure? I am getting it in a few days and I'm thinking to make the backpack different. I like it larger if possible The figures are expensive I wouldn't want to buy a figure and then it won't fit on this one.
