My first look at the losi ProMoto Had a few issues with the bike Had a hard impact on the front end The best ad most fun i have had in a long time www.redfinmodels.com/
I've seen lots blaming water for the stator issues brushless motors are inherently waterproof not corrosion proof different thing. I'm starting to believe it's the ESC built into the stator misfiring the phases to the motor.
The bike MUST BE ABSOLUTELY STILL (NOT MOVING) when you first fire them up (bikes) it takes about 15 seconds the bike has to be fully stationary before the Tx will connect to the rx and then it arms.
The Stateor Motors are NOT Waterproof. So with the heavy damn/wet nature of the UK area, you probably got water in it from the grass, and that shorted it out.
It must be completely still when turning on, lay it on it's side or put it on the stand before powering on.
boom! you don't mess about!! so much fun these things, when they work!!
cheers mate, Yes totally agree
They always work. The Stators are NOT waterproof and like old ESCs, a little damp and they fry out.
What is a good battery for these please
Any decent 2s battery that is 139mm x 47mm x 28mm or smaller@@RAY-1984-rc
Was there much difference with the 80c and 50c?
Super cool bike! Right on!
Thinking you have to check the stator seal before taking out in the wet. Water will get in and short out the stator.👍 👍👍
Where did you get that hoodie from? I like it better than the one I got for one of mine! Also, new subscriber!
