I was talked out of the backhoe by the salesperson saying a stump bucket and auger combo could remove the stumps and dig holes just as well or better than a backhoe and saved 5K. He said that to use the backhoe in the back is a bit of pain, set it , dig, move the tractor, reset it dig, on and on...Just wanted your thoughts on this. I figured he was telling the truth because the backhoe was 8k and the implements were much cheaper. They just delivered our tractor yesterday and it's pretty intimidating. Never used one and the orientation to the tractor was a bit rushed and this video helped a lot! Thanks.
If all you want to do is remove old stumps then it sounds like the salesman saved you some money! We needed the backhoe for other jobs (we need to put in water lines and dig some trenches) so the backhoe was worth it for us. Our tractor dealer guy has been very helpful, and quick to help us when we have questions. I can understand the tractor being intimidating- we felt the same way in the beginning. The backhoe is not so hard to take on and off once you do it yourself a couple times. We only take it off in the winter for the snowblower and leave it on all summer. If you have any questions, I can try to help! It’s a wonderful tractor and a great work horse! I am used to working with bigger tractors so I found this tractor a lot different to get used to. For its size it really gets the job done! We haven’t had a situation yet where it was “too small” for a job we were doing. We buy implements second hand as they are a lot cheaper than new and haven’t had any issues with that. Enjoy your new tractor! 🚜
Funny coming across this today. I just got a quote for the same tractor from Terry at Kerby Tractor this afternoon. Great customer service - can't wait to get my hands on the machine!
Happy for y’all! It’s exciting isn’t it. I got my CS 2520 one month ago and I’m still pumped about finally having my little tractor. Have a Blessed Day
Hope you enjoy your tractor!!! Such a handy tool on the farm, we have gotten so much done since we got ours… wish we got it when we first moved here. Thanks for tuning in :)
Glad it was helpful! I couldn’t find any videos (last time I checked) on TH-cam fully walking thru how the backhoe comes off and goes on, so I thought it would be useful to some folks to see how it works. We love our tractor! No complaints at all! And have gotten a lot of use out of it and a lot of projects done around the farm in the short time we have had it! Thanks for watching :)
We did a ton of research on tractors, and for our area, price range, and capabilities this was our best option- so far not disappointed! It may look small but it’s a real work horse on the farm!
@@TheHollabbeyHomestead As far as turf tires go those look fairly aggressive with big blocks and void areas. If that's all you need, they'll likely last longer than the other options too. If you end up having trouble with packed snow or ice, tire chains will out-perform them all. Anyway, like TX2 said, nice tractor.

Must have been in the algorithms! You will NOT be disappointed with the tractor or Terry! Let us know how you like the machine once you get it!
@@TheHollabbeyHomestead Will do!
You’ll love it. I just did my 50 hour service in my CX. The most versatile thing I have around here! Haven’t looked back since buying mine
Totally agree! We have gotten so much stuff done on the farm, it’s a great work horse for its size!

I bought that same tractor with a cab a few months ago , really enjoy it !
Glad to hear it! We haven’t stopped using ours!!
Nice video. I'm thinking about buying this tractor/loader/backhoe. It was very helpful to see how the backhoe connects. Thanks.

We are excited for the possibilities! It will definitely accelerate our progress on the farm :)
Nice tractor! Took Dave no time at all to get really comfortable with it!
Smart purchase!
We are very happy with the tractor so far. It will move mountains for us in farm progress! Thanks for watching!

How is your clutch becareful
Does it have a name yet? Like Big Red? 😊
I’m sure we will name it soon :)
Nice tractor but those are turf tires.
That’s what we wanted. Easier and cheaper to repair if we got a flat. You can get this tractor with regular tractor tires
