First class for all the aspects of video catching, colors settings, and I suppose, for the shutter speed settings, because of some kind of mouvments who are not fluid as they should be in reallity, and give a kid's game impressions...And all this for a so captivating machine and mens working for her, and for her missions. Bravo for the excellent work.
Really great camera work! You really get a sense of how gigantic these things are when you have a guy climbing around on top of it for scale. What a beautiful machine.
I work with helicopter hurricane bubba in Spanish fort alabama in 1996 with Erickson skycrane & southeastern power corp TITUSVILLE Florida. 100 mph winds and the sand hitting me in the face. It's a adrenaline rush being around that helicopter

You know when you compare the CH 47 to this Sikorski 64 the 64 mechanically a lot simpler and maintenance must be a lot easier well that's my opinion for what it's worth.
I'm not sure. Both have a transmission to connect the two engines, and both have a driveshaft, the S-64 to the tail rotor, and the CH-47 to the front rotor. Seems roughly comparable to me. I'm just guessing, too, though. Regardless, both are awesome helicopters!
It's the equivalent of spitting on a bonfire. The resources used to dump buckets of water from helicopters could be better spent elsewhere. Fire bombers for example, or using the helicopters for human/equipment rescue and shuttling.

My dad used to be the head mechanic for that particular Erickson crane
matt Van Horn and my dad use to fly a sky crane but he died in a helicopter crash saving Australia
