Omgosh I love this !! I never knew it was him! I will tell Lloyd (screen name on my favorite Yellowstone show right now he is so much more distinguished & good looking better now than ever before ‼️. We love you 👌💖🤘🤘
Love his character on Yellowstone. I get the feeling he will always have their backs until the end; that he has some sort of past, is always redeeming himself, and is where everyone in the bunkhouse is headed - if they can make it that long. Just a perfect cowboy. He's kinda the guy I'd like to be at that age.
When you're watching the show you can definitely tell who knows what they're doing and who just acting like they know what they're doing there's a certain comfort level they have no nervousness involved and he's got it
I met him at "dodge city days" in dodge city kansas.. he said he was on his way through and just had to see a rodeo in the actual dodge city. Super nice guy and a true cowboy
Hes actually one of my favorite characters. This season when he was having a very hard time on the ranch and was being treated like shit. Man, i didnt like that. One of my favorite lines in the show. When talking to Jimmy "No one is cut out to be a cowboy, Its cut into you."
He was also “nice” or at least decent to Walker, so when the barrel racer left him for Walker, and Walker treated him like crap, I never understood why he was like that to him.
@@emiliaescobar7652super late to the show lmao I didn’t have the streaming services when it first started 😅 buuuut I got so sad when Jimmy told him he was leaving and he got sad 😭 I was looking who played the younger version found it and then and ended up here 😹
He deserved many more than just some minor roles in a few movies. Yellowstone has been his greatest outing, let's hope he will play a memorable supporting role in more western movies.
Forrie, aka character Lloyd in Yellowstone needs to become the Rip of 6666 or find a home in 1883. These "Cowboy Soaps" with a twist are a money maker and Taylor Sheridan is a sharp dude and knows this. Yellowstone is and has been a success due to the writing and characters being perfectly suited for their roles. The spin off series and all 3 will flourish with the current characters drifting in and out especially between 6666 and Yellowstone.
@@JayMac Make up artists make actors look like they need too for roles other then themsleves as they get out of bed in the morning. I did mention 6666 twice, if he goes. But to clarify he could appear as an "actor" in 1883 and with make up looking like someone unrecognizable. Regardless I would sooner see Forrie and his Lloyd character stay in Yellowstone.
Forie also did some modeling work for an outdoor wear company. Hell , on the show Lloyd wears half the wool coats I own from that company. Sharp dresser ;)
He is my favorite on the show 100% I also like the cowboy that owns the 6666 ranch he's cool too I like these guys cause they aren't fake they are Cowboys, rip is my 3rd favorite.
I suppose we don’t, but Lloyd has had guns on him before (like when he held a gun to Walkers back when he was fighting Rip) so whether or not he owns one himself he could probably easily get one on the ranch if he wanted to.
Wat a rugged handsome lookin cowboy. I think they really should bring on Sam Elliot he would go so good on yellowstone. Write him in as Lloyd's brother or something
Can anyone explain who he was in Tombstone? It's my favourite movie but I cannot tell and there's no proper information on it anywhere. They keep showing Frank McLaury in this clip, but I know that to be a different actor
@@tracytatum2224 I'm aware, but I there's no photos or scenes to show him online. I'm due for another watch-through anyways. I won't miss him next time
Funny they bring up Yellowstone and Tombstone... We just saw Billy Bob Thornton in 1883 as a Marshal Jim Courtright, and in 1993s Tombstone he played gambler Johnny Tyler. Sam Eliott played Virgil Earp in Tombstone, and now plays Shea Brennan on 1883. Kevin Costner played Wyatt Earp in the eponymous Wyatt Earp in 1994. It is all intertwined.
When I first saw the sheriff I thought the same thing holy crap it's Billy Bob Thornton and then when he went into the saloon and straight up killed everybody I thought perfect person to play that character
I question who this Lloyd is and have a feeling he may have some secrets and not upfront with his real feelings for John Dunn. Best keep an eye on him I am.
What do these things need to be so long? People don't need 2 minutes on what "Tombstone" was about, etc. This could have been very interesting at 90 seconds or 2 minutes.
Where did you first see Forrie J. Smith?
I think that's deliberate. I did the same thing!
First time I ever saw him was in tombstone

Yellowstone
Isn't his name Lloyd? Not Forrie?
Had the chance to meet Forrie last week in Vegas at a meet-n-greet. He’s a real cowboy complete with gnarled hands and bow legs 😀. Cool guy.
ABSOLUTELY GREAT ACTOR, HUGE FAN. FANTASTIC JOB ON YELLOWSTONE, WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST SHOW ON TV, THE VERY BEST ‼️‼️‼️. Vinny 🇺🇸
Wow, I saw so many of these. Forrie you're amazing on Yellowstone and love that you're a real Cowboy as well as an outstanding actor. 👏👏🔋

True that RodCorn! He’s definitely in my top 3 favorites
He’s just one of those guys that has screen presence…. a great actor all around.
I think he's Adorable!!!
Very glad you brought somebody so dedicated to light!

Cool that he respects the history.
“Tough work becoming a man. But it beat the alternative.” - Lloyd
Love Forrie J. Smith he is awesome in every movie he's been in. Amazing Actor Amazing Cowboy..❤❤❤❤❤
Lloyd was one of my favorite character's on Yellowstone.
Forrie j Smith grew up in Helena, Montana. He is real cowboy. I watched forrie on bareback & beat the time.
Mr Smith is wearing the same belt buckle in the Transamerica scene that he pawned for the guitar in Yellowstone…Cool Easter egg
Pissed me off when rip beat that old man up he could live 5 more lifetimes and not find a friend like Lloyd
But it tore Rip up inside that he had to do that as you saw afterwards.
RIP was wrong for that.

Love the scenes with him & Jimmy!
Him and Jimmy had a cool dynamic... Makes you want to cry when he told Jimmy "hell Jimmy you're a cowboy aklready"

I met Forrie during my trip to the 2020 NFR in Ft. Worth at a BBQ joint. Hell of a nice guy.
they better not kill him off Yellowstone !!!
Yeah because that would actually kill his chance and moving to the four sixes
that cast of yellowstone is gold in them hills
He deserved many more than just some minor roles in a few movies. Yellowstone has been his greatest outing, let's hope he will play a memorable supporting role in more western movies.
That's why this show is so good. Authentic. Taylor Sheridan is a hard-core human.
Love this guy. He is great in this show.
Forrie is handsome, and a beautiful soul. That skunk haired cutie pie!
He is a great actor for sure!❤️
He's a fantastic actor
He is my favorite!
TOMBSTONE!!!!!!!!!! I love that movie!
Lloyd Pierce is the modern day Ben Johnson.
Modern day Jack Elam

I imagine 6666 has their own Rip.
What? How would he "find a home in 1883"? Good back in time 138 years?

Agree EXCEPT Taylor needs help developing female characters bc everyone of them are thin single note in character which is disappointing& unrealistic!
@@maryb1923 What don't you want?
Top shelf talent for sure
He reminds of the Great Sam Elliott 😍 an yet Sam will be starring In 1883 so can't wait to watch that series 🤩
I think he has tried to appear that way also!
Omg I remember him in transamerica and in midnight texas
Just recently saw him in the episode of Better Call Saul. Forrie makes me think of R Lee Ermey, RIP Gunny. FLY NAVY!!!
Love his character ❤️ I knew he looked familiar.
He is one great actor!
Forrie j Smith has been in numerous amounts of movies.
at 3:40 isnt that the same belt buckle in yellowstone he trades at the pawn shop for walker?
Forie also did some modeling work for an outdoor wear company. Hell , on the show Lloyd wears half the wool coats I own from that company. Sharp dresser ;)
best character in the show...actually believable
It's easy to see when you're watching who the real deal is you can tell just by the way he carries himself
He's a friend on FB and a nice guy.
I was surprised that they could make Yellowstone without Sam Elliott.
He’s in the spinoff 1883 (prequel)
2:02 thats what we call gates pass, thats in tucson, az
Forrie is the son of our realtor when we bought property in Camp Verde, AZ many years ago.
Did they show his character from Tombstone?
He is my favorite on the show 100% I also like the cowboy that owns the 6666 ranch he's cool too I like these guys cause they aren't fake they are Cowboys, rip is my 3rd favorite.
Forrie J. Smith should be a part of the spin off at 6666, given a bigger part.
I agree with you 100%, that's why I hope they don't kill him off Yellowstone
Love this show !!!
Good stuff!
the Acor who plays Loyd is beyond so Kool. His words of Wisdom and Loyalty to Rip..
I'm glad Lloyd is back from his "heel" turn, but how do we know he didn't buy a guitar and a gun?
I suppose we don’t, but Lloyd has had guns on him before (like when he held a gun to Walkers back when he was fighting Rip) so whether or not he owns one himself he could probably easily get one on the ranch if he wanted to.
Currently watching the second season. Had no idea this character's name was Lloyd.
Yeah, Lloyd was my favorite character on Yellowstone from day 1
Wat a rugged handsome lookin cowboy. I think they really should bring on Sam Elliot he would go so good on yellowstone. Write him in as Lloyd's brother or something
Taylor Sheridan used Sam Elliot as someone acquainted with the Dutton Family in the Yellowstone prequel, 1883.
He didn't look familiar to me ,but he was perfect.
So where exactly is "Pony Deal" in the movie Tombstone? They didn't even show him...
Did Looper actually watch Tombstone?! I beg to differ he has a bigger role than you make out to be.
It’s a shame he hasn’t been in more films!
IMO
Thats the most stylish old dude I have ever seen.
Hope I have physique like that when I am his age.
