Reece Walsh DROPPED!? QLD Maroons GAME 3 Changes & Predicted Line-Up | NRL 2024

- After an embarrassing Game 2 defeat by a red hot New South Wales Blues squad, Queensland Maroons Head coach Billy Slater will be forced to make some tough changes in Game 3 of the 2024 State of Origin Decider. Superstar Fullback Reece Walsh is under a lot of scrutiny after he underperformed in game 2 and made some terrible defensive read that got Maroons fans enraged and are calling for him to be dropped. Here in this video I give my reason why he'll be dropped, who should replace him and the predicted game 3 team list to go up against the New South Wales Blues.

I wouldnt play Walsh, game 2 wasnt Reese's best game, but even so I dont like the way he plays, he has no regard for the ball security, he throws the ball around like its a hot potato, Queensland should just bring in another full back and play the game.

Hammer at fullback, Walsh at 14. Grant goes to 9. Bring in Fifita, welch, + 😮gagai. Now bring in xavior savage on the other side of the wing with Cobbo inside him.
Murray tulagi to be dropped. He's too nice, peaceful and always seemed to be humble as always. Not too physical.
Savage is more physical, runs harder n breaks lines n is a better ball carrier in any side of the field.
Hunt has a better defensive effort. He goes to left centre with gagai on his outside. Gags is aggressive. We need such habits in maroons. Walsh firms in at number 14, he will bring fire, with Harry playing at his usual role. Holmes in for cotter to swap positions in the middle. Holmes brings fire in the mid running at top speed hitting the blues mid forwards. Can tire them most often. He has lungs to play long minutes and his hits are powerful that'll tire the blues middle forwards..

Reece Walsh rarely puts in a bad performance! When star players do not play to our expectations we are quick to point fingers at them! I would retain all of these players with room made only for David Fifita and Piakura to come in. Positional changes including Coates to mark Zac Lomax and Tuilangi to match To'o would not go astray as far as enhancing our winning combinations are concerned! Cobbo would be too good to omit come Game 3! Gor the Mighty Maroons!!
Reece is a champion player. Incredibly talented but he's low on confidence. When you get a head injury you're psychologically affected and it showed in game 2. That was the worst half by a fullback in origin I have seen in a long time. Hammer was outstanding in game 1

Though the Blues had all the superstars, young Walsh was a scare to them. All Blues, the coach, players and supporters doing everything under sun to put him off the Maroons team. Walsh is a threat to the Blues, Maroons should be conscious of that.

Dearden was solid. His only mistake was the intercept pass he threw to Crichton for the intercept. Walsh most likely the superstar to be dropped because defensively he was clueless

Mate, just saying this is all crap, Reece Walsh is the fullback for the second best team in the comp, you cant get much better than him. Also, are you just going to blatantly brush past the fact that the blues have won more than 80% of the time at that venue, meaning that QLD would have had a really hard match no matter who they put in the back lines. It wasn't Walshy's fault that QLD played bad anyways, he only let through 1 try, considering that they were down 34 points that isn't that bad. Its not like he fully sold everything and he was the only reason that QLD didnt win.
Your are spot on, but still not sure if he will drop Walsh after one poor game, but he will bring on Cobbo and do the change if Walsh is having a dud in the third game, but it was the whole team not Walsh that got hammered.
@@allworldmusic8270 It's not just the one game. The hammer played 73minutes at fullback in game 1 and he was amazing. Fit right in and Queensland belted the blues. Walsh is a superstar calibre player but psychologically, you're a bit cautious and low on confidence if you get injured. He's physically ok but mentally he needs a break. He was all over the place in the first half in game 2.

In the second half, Dearden played at 7 for a little while and cherry evens at 6. And honestly, it was the best I've seen him play. His a 7, not a 6. His going to be a legendary 7.

Slater is the only QLD coach that doesn't care about loyalty, he'll axe you if he thinks you're not worthy of a jumper or performed poorly. Like Dane Gagai.

Reece Walsh must play. He was bashed early in game 2 that's why he was quiet. Slater should move Walsh to centre, Hammer at fullback and Munster replacing Tom Dearden at 5/8. The backline of Cherry-Evans, Munster and Walsh would be dynamite with Hammer chiming in at fullback. It's a no-brainer. Cobbo, Fifita, Dearden and Piakura on the bench.
Munster is out for the rest of the series due to injury. Walsh won't be playing centre . Billy either has to stick with him or drop him

@@michaellincoln3739 The best way is to play boring footy. Kick it deep and defend. Win field possession, Have a high completion rate and avoid penalties. Penalties in origin is a death sentence. Do the fundamentals and the rest will follow. They were trying to hard to score off every possession in game 1

Walsh is a winger can’t tackle , just put on wing like Les Kiss and watch him run . He will score heaps of tries that way . In defence he’s only got to tackle his opponent 💥🔥🏉✅✅✅✅🎈🎈🎈🎈Walsh will be back on the wing, Cobbo will be moved into forward pack second row. This is the new look Queensland side of the future, Hammer is the full back , when Walsh does get back in the side , he will find himself on the wing and big Cobbo. will get fit and move into the forward pack , this is what Billy wants , not the players. The Queensland team is going to lose some stars this year , it will be different team next season.Walsh don’t go looking for work , he waits , if you want him to play, I would have him at half back , you need him to have the ball as much as possible, because when he’s got everything sorted, he plays amazing football 🎉🎉🎉🎉

They've been changing ever since Billy came in as coach. He dropped Gagai, Fifita, Capewell and even told Papalii to retire because he won't be picking him again. Billy is not with the loyalty rule, he's a performance coach and so far he has won 2 series. Qld will be better in game 3 but he'll definitely make changes
