Great game!!! I think 1-2 aboms with desease cloud is what you need here. Yes the Kodo will try and eat that, but you need some aoe. If you're really radical you can have a dispell magic staff on the Lich to dispell hex on DK and make sure he heals you.
Wouldnt that be fairly late game? I think Grubby's composition was fine, just got outplayed/mismicro'd which ended up with a ton of lost ghouls and eventually lost heroes, making it a game of catch-up against an extremely aggressive opponent. Not saying different strategies can't work though, everyone plays a little differently, and Grubby said so himself he didn't do so well with dark ranger and should have gone something else. Seeing heroes get hexed and then evaporated by hh was absolutely wild. The strat he tried was to overwhelm with units from dark ranger and it never panned out and ghouls just fell behind real fast when TC caught up. Idk! Honestly it'd be fun to see more abom play anyways.

Grubby you need to go back to the drawing board because you keep making the same mistakes as against Bichon. It's obvious you think destroyers are SSS tier on UD when they are in fact low dmg/surviviability expensive D tier units against Orc especially with mass HH. You beat them with DK+Lich+Pit lord(1 good decision vs Bichon) +aboms(disease) + fiends(burrow) max 1 destro +wand of negation. Focus the kodo when it comes to devour and pull back the aboms. If you think Farseer mass HH is challenging then wait till you play vs illusions Blade HH instead. He will give you a run for your money even if you use the optimal army composition.
We should gather all the community and ask Microsoft to fix wc3 after activision ruined. They need to treat this game with the proper respect is deserves.
I feel you lost because of the mana on your drow ranger. The fight at around 10 something looked lost and he had much more units, then you snowballed with skeletons. But the later fights you could never snowball with skeletons because your drow was always at 0 mana so there didn't spawn any skeletons.
Why do you keep fighting an army that clearly doesn't work ? What is the logic in trying to achieve something over and over again with an army that is smaller and made up of ineffective units ? He has nothing to dispel magic - make spellcasters. He is extremely effective at dealing area damage with his war stomp and chain lighting - make abominations, not ghouls. These pro players, because of their "meta" thing, whatever that means, lose track of the most basic and intuitive things, like unit/antiunit mechanics. Facing an enemy with a couple of ghouls and says "it's lost" - of course it's lost ! For what you keeping "No Upkeep" ? It's not a sim city, you don't need higher income, you just build the army, face your enemy and crush him. These pros despise simple things like efficiency and numbers. They think that they can handle everything with "micro". But he didn't need micro and all that. He simply crushed you with a stronger army.... Red Alert style.

For most of the game he never had the money to change his army to counter the orc player's units. He was a "dead man walking": he had already lost the game, he was just running around trying to delay defeat in the hope that his opponent would screw up and throw away the advantage. It never happened, so he lost
