2nd of the World's best 4x100m womens team next to the US team of Carmelita Jeter, Alysson Felix, Taina Madison & Bianca Knight to the 2012 Londons Olympics. But the fastest woman ever Florence Griffith Joyner joined by the 2nd fastest during their time, Evelyn Ashford plus Alice Brown and Sheila Echols were simply magnificent! Congrats US Women's 4x100 meters relay womens team!!!
Back then and in most cases your anchor leg was usually your fastest person Evelyn had a rep on the anchor and flo jo was a 200 meter runner so naturally you would put her at third leg...Although they both would've finished first...Theses were some classy women running this relay and very dominant...Great job ladies.
Most amazing 4x100 smooth and beautiful 🥳🥳
this race and the womens 2012 4x100m are my favorite two. USA!!!!!
EVERYTIME I SEE THIS RACE...I'M JUST IN AWE!!!
Ashford blew the field away!
I'M SO PROUD TO BE BLACK AND GOD BLESS THE USA
Ashford was legend
Evelyn though.. damn that girl lit it up right there .. sheeeit
The best race I have ever seen.. against all odds made possible...Evelyn is the star
Great anchor leg from Ashford! Still, I wonder how that race would've unfolded with Torrence and Drechsler. And team Jamaica would've definitely been in the mix with Ottey, Jackson and Cuthbert all in good form.
Nope!
