- Nigel Farage has criticised the mainstream media for its portrayal of migrant crossings in the English Channel.
Speaking with talkRADIO’s Miek Graham, the Brexit Party leader said: “Every portrayal of who is coming across the channel on the BBC or Sky news will show you a heavily pregnant woman or a six-year-old boy.
“85 per cent of those that come are young, single men under the age of 30 and in most cases we do not have a clue who any of them are but it’s a pretty fair bet that amongst them are a sprinkling of people with ISIS style sympathies”

I work with a business in Ireland. 60 % of there factory workforce are eastern European. in the last six years they have been able to invest in new machines and technology with the experience the European workers have to operate them. They have grown the business substantially and can now employ local people who are trained by the European workers to develop their skills that would not have been possible otherwise... Sometimes you have to look further to see the benefits.

We need to look at this with a different lense. Someone, somewhere is paying to traffick future slave labour into the UK. France and the UK are complicit in human trafficking. When, oh when, is somebody actually going to do something about this. We have heard plenty of words as to the government's plans for action, none of which have led to any concrete action. This is not a situation that has an occasional occurrence, but is a DAILY issue of illegal immigration into this country. Last week I wrote to my local MP, but to date, the only reply that I have had is a 'bog standard' automatic response. I voted for Boris by way of electing a conservative MP to our local constituency. If this matter is NOT sorted soon, then NEVER again.

This makes my blood boil. Some years ago, myself, husband and 12 year old son were made homeless, through no fault of our own.
The local council at that time put us into a B&B which was full of undesirables, basically druggies and drunks. It was not a very nice place to be, really grotty. The 3 of us had to sleep in one room and it was about 15 months before we got offered somewhere permanent to live.
Good old Boris, the man who promised to control this. I reckon the EU are advising them to all flock over here before the 31st December because after that the EU no longer have control over us.

@Lindsey Bayliss I've been on the NHS waiting for a Dentist for I think nearly 9 months now. And last year I was signed off work for a 7 out of 6 months with depression and not once did I see a GP. It was all done online asking for sicknotes. Even turning up as they opened the doors for an on the day appointment I was told all booked? How you just opened?
